Description
Hi - I live on the Mornington Peninsula close to the bay and near beautiful bushland and walking trails. I have 2 young children who stay with me part of the week. They are curious and open minded and we love to meet new people and learn about new cultures.
I used to speak French so would love to speak more, I am very community minded and am involved in local sports and school community, love cooking and learning new foods and love walking the trails in the local area and in Cape Schanck (approx 30 mins away). I can also suggest some great places to go exploring. -

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
I am based in Mount Martha walking distance to the village, bay and lots of yummy cafes and a few restaurants, there is public transport to other parts of the Penisnuala via bus, 25 mins drive to Frankston and access to the train network to go to Melbourne (approx 70 mins drive). There are loads of bushwalking, parks, beaches on the Mornington Peninsula - it is a very special part of the world - especially in Spring.

Help
I am looking for help with gardening (and weeding!) my large block, it's a beautiful space but hard to manage on my own as we come in to Spring, it would include preparing garden beds and some basic maintenance outside the house. There will be some activities that can be done independently and some where I will assist.

snacks can be purchased by yourself - I can take you to the local supermarket to pick up supplies on the first day. -
What else ...
There is so much to explore on the Mornington Peninsula - I can direct you to may wonderful place for nature, relaxing and eating out too.
My kids stay with me part of the week - so my preference is for couples or women travellers. So workaways need to be considerate that we are a young family.
If you stay more than a week I would love to experience your cultures cooking and I may by the ingredients for a meal and you can teach me a special dish from your country. -
