    Description

Job Opportunity: Seasonal Café Assistant. Digital nomad with cafe experience would be perfect.

We are seeking a dedicated, self mativated individual, (or couple) to join our team going into our quieter period. This role involves flexible hours in our café, with pay based on hours worked. Availability on-call is essential, as our schedule can vary greatly. Experience in front-of-house operations and coffee making is a must! We have a dedicated wifi space in our café for you.

You'll be working alongside me. While I typically handle kitchen duties, you will be responsible for front-of-house, coffee preparation, and counter service, so prior experience in these areas is crucial. We value a friendly demeanor and someone who can grasp instructions quickly.
If a couple applying, a jack of all trades be great. We have carpentry work to do.

Accommodation will be provided free of charge, and our location is close to the stunning Coromandel beaches and beautiful walking trails, making it an ideal base for exploring the area. Given our rural setting, having your own vehicle is recommended.

In addition to café operations, we also run a farm shop, selling a variety of products including our own meats and homemade jams and pickles. We’re looking for someone fluent in English, with a friendly attitude towards customers, a strong work ethic, energy, and self-motivation.

If you have your own camper, we can accommodate you with free parking in exchange for your help. Accommodation may be shared and couples will be considered.

The bach is within walking distance of the café, and I live next door with my two boys. I would appreciate your help in keeping the living space clean and tidy.

We offer hourly wages for all hours worked, with a maximum commitment of 5 days and 40 hours per week, though actual hours may be lower during this period.

If this sounds like a good fit for you, I look forward to hearing from you!

If I dont reply, I have no availability.

    Thanks,
    Cathy

We live in a small rural community but are so close to beautiful beaches, great walks. We are on a farm so you will be able to see how our running farm works. The meat from our farm is sold and cooked in our cafe. As is our orchard fruit and garden veges made into pickles and jams.
