Description
Hello there!
Me? A Humanitarian Aid Organization worker (NGO), at the age of 40, living alone for decades in İstanbul. Fluent in Turkish, English and French (a bit rusty, practice wouldn't hurt)
Motorcycle rider, pretty active in gym, and have a green thumb which translates to delicious Turkish Aegean Cuisine.
I'm an avid traveler and set foot to around 40 countries so far, thanks to my family, my work, and the communities who engaged me with hosts.
My home is 3+1 so, you'll have your own room and privacy. I don't open the TV much, but there is one in the living room. Internet is strong at home, and my place is in the very city center of İstanbul, and quite safe area.
Thank you for reading my post.

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
Me as a NGO worker and avid traveler, I have many stories to share, and quite talkative when I'm in the mood.
I can share the Turkish Culture, food, show you around in my city, and share the local spots most tourist miss.
And if the weather allows us, I can show you around on my motorbike if you're into it..
Help
Now, I've overcame an illness, (was hell of a year!!) and trying to declutter my home, give it a bit of reflection of my colors (It was quite plain and didn't reflect me at all before), and have an organized way of living.
But, due to work, travels, health schedule, I'm overwhelmed with the 'To Do' list I have in hand, which doesn't feel like will finish any time soon due to my hectic schedule. I recently met a lady in one of my travels and her guest is helping her to organize the garage, so I felt like why not? Let's give it a chance.
I need HELP! Are you a traveler, who is organized, keen of learning new things, meeting new people, eating good and healthy food...
And would like to support me while I decide to donate / sell / throw away things in my home, and where to hang my beautiful pictures. Plus, look after the plants I have at home - they all need a bit of pot caring and that is a lot of work for me at the moment.
Bonus: I have a ginger cat, who thinks that he is a dog. If you'd like to throw him the ball to fetch, this would be a great help too!

Accommodation
3+1 apartment home, with a private room to you. I have a very large living room, the guest room is rather small but has a very comfortable bed.
Home is very central and walking distance to most public transportations.
I always have a full kitchen, the guest can use the kitchen however they'd like to. When I'm working from home, we can have joint lunch and dinner, I have a different routine for breakfast. I can show how to cook Turkish Cuisine.
And the working schedule would not be so full because I need to be present there to declutter the house. I need support to stay focus and verify what to eliminate.
What else ...
A tip about house rules, I don't watch the main stream media, and don't like to have it at my home. I mostly listen to music and no sound at all.
I have a home office, while I'm working I'm quite focused but I can close my door.
Strictly no smoking home. There is one balcony, but it is in my sleeping area, so if you must, you'll need to take an elevator to outside. (I'm sorry about that)
If you are scared of cats, this place is not suitable for you. Timon is quite active and energetic young ginger boy who'd love to play with you and share cuddles. So avoiding him would not be an option he is a love bug. (especially for allergic people-I'm also allergic)
A little more information

Internet access

Limited internet access

We have pets

We are smokers

Can host families

Can host digital nomads
I have an extra table in the living room, which you can use as your office or, use the room I use as office while I go to my actual one :)

Space for parking camper vans
If you have a big one, you'll have difficulties to park around the block. Living out of your vehicle would be considered weird in this district, because it is a bit luxurious one normally.

Mr. Timon (1 year)
Mr. Timon is a ginger cat who thinks he is a dog. He loves cuddles while sleeping, doesn't usually come to one's lap, but when he does, I love it... No scratching whatsoever, but he thinks that humans are big cats, so he tries to play while biting, so you need to be cautious of your feet.
