    Description

We're a friendly family of seven—grandparents, parents, two teenagers, and a lively nine-year-old—living in a charming, old country house, it is very original, so no central heating in the bedroom but we have wood stoves in the shared living areas. Within our big yard is a cozy, smaller house, surrounded by a beautiful, walled organic garden, an apple orchard, a polytunnel, a greenhouse, and some cheerful hens. We also share our home with two ponies and a gorgeous Labrador dog!

Although we're nestled among mature trees, fields, and open countryside, our house is just beside a town with shops, pharmacies, a library, and easy bus connections( every hour). You really get the best of both worlds: nature and convenience. We are also linked to the Rathkeale -Listowel greenway

We're looking for help with the garden and grounds, housework, maintenance, tying sheds, and caring for our animals. If you enjoy cooking, you’ll find plenty of kindred spirits here—we love preparing meals with others and cooking together or taking turns ;) You’ll have access to bikes for exploring, and we love practicing other languages too. If this sounds like your kind of place, we would be so happy to welcome you!
