Description
Hello! We are a swiss family with three girls (8, 10 and 13) living in the beautiful coutryside near Kraljievo since april.
Our life here is simple and connected to nature. We have a lot to do, fixing some parts of the house, cleaning the land and doing our veggie garden.
We also spend some times with neighbours, at the river and go once a week to the market in Kraljievo.

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
We still don't know Serbian, so we can't teach it — but we do know a bit about the culture, and we’re often in contact with our neighbor, who is Serbian and frequently hosts Workawayers.
Before settling here, we traveled for three years with a caravan, and before having children, we spent a year traveling by bicycle. We're happy to share stories and experiences from those times!

Help
We are currently looking for a person to help Steve with cleaning the land, collecting wood, cutting grass, and other similar tasks. You should be in good physical condition.
We are also looking for a girl to assist Sarah with daily tasks involving the children. Ideally, this person would speak French, so she could help the girls with their school exercises. However, an English-speaking person is also welcome — the girls know some English, and you could focus more on creative activities with them, such as painting, playing games, and many other fun things.
We are looking for independent, proactive individuals. Since the kids are always around, you must also enjoy family life, which can sometimes be lively and noisy.
We generally get up early and (try to) go to bed early.

Accommodation
We can offer a bed in our caravan which is in front of the house — we will be sleeping in the house.
We don’t have a real shower yet — for now, we wash using bottles. But we hope this will change in the coming weeks!
The toilet is basic — a dry Turkish-style toilet.
We generally eat twice a day: once around 9–10 AM and again around 5–6 PM. We eat everything, but it depends on what’s available without going to the shop. Sometimes we get cheese, meat, milk, and eggs from our neighbors, but not every day. We eat quite a lot of vegetables, and there are always fruits, nuts, and similar snacks available.
What else ...
The place is quite remote. There is no local bus service — the only bus to Kraljevo is a 30-minute walk from here. However, we go there regularly and can take you with us.

She arrived during bad weather: rain, snow and a power cut that lasted almost three days. What's more, our shower wasn't finished yet, which meant we had to shower outside.
Despite these difficult conditions, Nasi adapted very well and never complained.

When it started snowing, we had to save the trees, shake off the branches, protect the wires, and clear the road.
We did some crafting and read some fairy tales from books with Alice and Athena. We also did… read more
She is a friendly, uncomplicated, calm and motivated person.
Marion helped us build a concrete floor and a brick wall, she cut branches and helped Alice with her maths with great patience.
We are happy to have met her and look forward to welcoming her back!
I mainly helped Steve with some construction work around the houses, pushing wheelbarrows full of gravel, moving bricks (with the precious help of the three girls), cutting branches, cleaning things…
I also refreshed my maths… read more
