Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
The center of our ethos is that everybody has the potential to bloom and grow. If blooming for you means helping design and build an amazing set of gardens and learn how to teach others how to do the same in person and through video, this could be for you. If blooming for you means working in a creative musical environment, then this could be for you. If blooming for you means shamanic journeying with the help of others, then this could be for you. Do you want to write a book? make a film? build a tiny house, learn how to grow organically, harvest ethically, and make medicines that work in line with your body's needs, this could be for you. I (Fran) am well informed about special diets, especially gluten and dairy-free.
If you love music, good debate and conversation, gardening, fowl, and don't mind getting your hands dirty with physical projects, we may just be perfect for each other.Help
Duties include daily care for animals, including chickens, ducks, cats, and two dogs. You would help with grounds maintenance on 5 acres and help staff our scheduled free events on the property.
Interface with other guests who come to camp or stay in our yurt. Working in our herb and vegetable gardens, foraging for wild food. Taking part in building and maintenance projects.Languages

You will stay in a mountain cabin-type house which is a shared open space Drinking water is supplied from our well which needs to be collected. There are composting toilets and a shower in the house as long as the water is running. Access to showers and flush toilets otherwise is on the property in the communal showers a short walk from the house. Food for breakfast and lunch is supplied for you and the evening meal is a communal affair whereby workers both residents and volunteers, take turns to help prepare the evening meal. Most diets can be catered for but specialist food will need to be purchased yourself. Access to the fully equipped communal kitchen is available between 8.30am and 8pm unless otherwise agreed.
What else ...
We live on 83 acres of a wooded mountain which you can hike and camp on. There is a multitude of attractions available in the area included Natural Bridge and Rainbow Mountain Wolf Sanctuary. Transport is available and we like to do a regular workers outing. We have plans and opportunities to build other accommodations Tiny houses, cordwood, underground etc, and would value connecting with people who have an active interest in pursuing this.
