    =============
    WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: we have already matched with other workawayers and we do not have availability until next summer, August/September 2024.
    =============

    ** We are looking for someone interested in joining us and staying for longer periods, at least 3 months. Please do not message if you are just looking for a 2-3 weeks stay! It would be great to find people having already good, proven experience in babysitting and creative play, having good English skills, and loving dogs! **

    Hello! We are an Italian rainbow family of two dads and two twin boys born in November 2016, living in Turin, in the North-West of Italy. We are honest and easy going people, and have been lucky enough to create a wonderful family together, supported by our relatives and friends. We love to travel, meet other people and discover different cultures around the World. Our kids are actually Canadian and we are in close relationship with our extended family living there.
    Turin is a lovely city close to the Alps, half an hour from the mountains, one hour and a half from the sea. It has been called "little Paris" because of its streets, squares, old cafes and many historical monuments.
    We live in an apartment close to the city centre and to train and underground transports. There is also a big park where we take the boys almost every afternoon for a walk or to have some fun at the playground.
    At Christmas time we often spend part of our holidays in the mountains to enjoy sunny days on the snow. During summer, we usually move to the countryside or to the seaside to a small town on the coast, Laigueglia, where our parents have a house 2 minutes' walk from the beach. We love to take our guests around and show them all the attractions here.

    Help

    Having twins is a wonderful experience but sometimes can make your days very busy! We can already rely on the help of family and friends, but we thought it would be nice to host someone from a different culture looking for a real ‘Italian experience’, spending time with us and helping out with the kids.
    Our guest(s) would be asked to look after the boys for few hours each day (no more than 4-5 hours per day, 25-30 hours per week), playing with them, doing arts and crafts or taking them out for a walk. And meanwhile have free time to enjoy the places, the food, the daily life here.

  • What else ...

    What else ...

    From our home you can easily get everywhere by walking, bike or public transports (trains, buses/trams and metro).
    At walking distance you can reach several shops, points of interest and the Valentino park.
    There are so many places and attractions worth visiting in this area that it would be difficult to list all of them. We have castles, squares, museums, neighbourhoods full of life and culture... just few minutes away from where we live
