Hello traveler! 😊
We’re Richard a farmer and watersports instructor, Dolores a cat-loving dancer grandma, and Alex a bread eater and volley player. Together, we run a small farm and guesthouse on the countryside coast, just a 20-minute walk from the Atlantic Ocean, with direct access from our garden!
We’ve truly fallen in love with this slice of paradise. Our home is a typical local property, over 100 years old, and we’ve been renovating it for the past 10 years, and the project is still evolving! The land stretches across about 3 hectares, filled with cork oaks, pine trees, fruit trees, vines, some chickens, vegetables garden, volleyball court, and even a small river.
Nearby, we run a kitesurfing and wing foiling school, and with the ocean so close, there are plenty of opportunities for surfing too.
Having your own transportation is definitely helpful, but we’re happy to offer rides when we head to the beach or the supermarket.

- Naturally bonding with people
- House day-to-day : tidying & cleaning in private home
- Gardening: watering, trimming, weeding, chopping
- Outdoor kitchen and garden shed improvement, wooden furniture
- Feeding the chickens
- Playing and petting our kindest dog Bowie and our new energetic puppy Taz, both border collies

What else ...
The house is about 2 km from the main road so it is very quiet and peaceful here. The area is beautiful so nature lovers will feel right at home. There is a big local market every two weeks. We are a few minutes away by car from small cities and few hours away from Lisbon and south of Portugal by bus for your weekend excursions !
