Description
Hello traveler !
I have a small farm house in the countryside, just a 15-minute walk from the Atlantic Ocean, which we can access directly from our garden. I absolutely love this little piece of paradise! The house is a typical property from the area, over 100 years old, and we have been renovating it for the past 10 years. It sits on about 3 hectares of land filled with cork oaks, pines, fruit trees, vines, and even a little river. On top of that, I run a kite surfing and wing foil school nearby.
We’re very close to the ocean, so surfing opportunities are available. Having your own transportation is helpful, but I often go to the beach and town, and can give you rides as well.

We are native French and Portuguese so if you want to practice your Portuguese or French I can help you. The house is on the south west coast of Portugal and this area is very traditional, it is very interesting to realize how people live around here. I am conscious about health & nature and I love to share ideas about healthy nutrition, sports and a fulfilling lifestyle.
Help
We are looking for volunteers to help with variety of projects. Accomodation and veggie food included. Tasks mainly include:
- House day-to-day : cleaning,
- Gardening: trimming, weeding, vegetables, fruit trees, vines
- Construction: outdoor kitchen, yoga deck, garden shed
- Feeding the chickens
- Playing and peting our kindest dog Bowie
…and more, depending on your skills and interests!

The house is about 2 km from the main road so it is very quiet and peaceful here. The area is beautiful so nature lovers will feel right at home. There is a big local market every two weeks. We are a few minutes away by car from small cities and few hours away from Lisbon and south of Portugal by bus for your weekend excursions !
