Description
We are a Spanish-English family living in a beautiful mountain area of Andalucia, Spain.
We are a busy working family with lots to do and not enough time. I am self-employed and mostly work from home where I live with my (Spanish) husband and 3 of my children (29, 26 and 18), 3 grandchildren (7 months, 3 and 9). My other children also visit frequently along with my other grandchildren.
We would like general help around the smallholding, vegetable garden, etc. as well as ad hoc jobs that might come up such as occasional building projects, maintenance work, etc (depending on the time of year).
We would like people who will help for around 5 hours per day, Monday to Friday with weekends off. The schedule is very flexible and can fit round any plans the volunteer may have.
Honest values, energy and willingness to help are the most important assets that we seek
You will have self-contained accommodation and all meals. Our main "family" meal time is at lunch where we all sit down together and the other meals are much more of a free-for-all!
We are 5 km from the nearest town and we go in and out daily so lifts aren't a problem.
We are very easy going and would welcome a warm-natured volunteer to live as part of our family to the extent that they wish. Driving is an asset but not essential.Types of help and learning opportunities

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
We are an outgoing family with 4 generations living on the farm which will allow travellers to experience an across the board culture. We all speak both English and Spanish in the home, allowing opportunities for learning or improving language skills.
Projects involving children
This project could involve children. For more information see our guidelines and tips here.
Help
We would like general help with the youngsters and around the house and maybe also some basic admin work, as well as ad hoc jobs that might come up such as planting, weeding (depending on the time of year).

Languages
