welcome home! pemalas consists of pema-lou 10, maria 50 & lars 50. We‘re a small family, living in a small house, but our lives are built on big dreams of openess & sharing!
since we travelled a lot, we know how exciting & interesting shared time can be.
maria is swiss- italian - i am swiss- german- we‘re comfortable in speaking english, german, swissgerman, some spanish -& italian!
we moved from suburban bern to our paradise 2years ago. only 5km uphill from thun we‘re lokated in nature, next to forests & meadows. our home is a quiety place- but we like the sound of living! we like musik, playing instrumemts, sitting at bonefires & hottubbing, creating & sharing meals, talking about live..going for a swim in summer & skiing in winter..we love nature & care for it- we do some gardening & maintanance in the surrounding area- last but know least, we do have the magic cat, called qi!

on your stay with us, we want to share our experiences about gardening & harvesting in our beautiful nearby forest & organic garden.. learning about local fruits, mushrooms &herbs, but we re always curious to learn from each other. So, we re also interested in your knowledge & experiences about organic gardening & permaculture projects.
on addition i like woodworking- not on a professional level- but if you like, i like sharing some skill,..last but not least our daughter needs still some caretaking & loves to play & learn!
maria is a professional cook & yoga teacher- i am an optometrist who loves learning by doing experiences in repairing.
you chose according to your skills to join in our daily live activities..

you reach our place with local transport every hour - in 15min you reach thun again. a beautiful little town at a pretty lake- there you will get, what you re missing, when you filled up with the sound of nature.
we do have bicyles to rent and of course there are paths to hike as far as you like..
maria is working in bern twice a week, me 4times in thun, so there is nearly always someone home, since pema-lou is a school girl..
