  Hi, I'm Marianne,
  
  Living in beautiful Nelson, BC.
  
  I would like some help with house maintenance.
  
  The main work would be sanding and painting (wood surfaces) at the moment, but anybody with carpentry or woodworking skills would also be much appreciated, as we need to build a little shed to keep the garbage bins bear proof and maybe some garden boxes.
  I would also like help digging some small bushes out of a rock wall, since the hazelnut grows to close to the house.
  
  I guess the list could go on, if you have a particular skill let me know.
  
  We offer room and board. Occasional help with cooking is also welcome, but if it's not your thing that's fine as well.

  We live in town, there's a bus service.
  It's a 20 minute walk to downtown, with it's eclectic shops, restaurants and coffee shops. Nelson has a vibrant arts scene and is surrounded by lots of natural beauty, if you're the outdoorsy type you'll definitely love it here.
