Description
Welcome to My Little Project of Peace and Creativity
After nearly 10 wonderful but intense years living in the vibrant city of London, I’ve decided to trade the noise for birdsong, and the crowds for connection. I’m now based in a small, artistic village in Bulgaria, where I’ve begun the journey of restoring an old home—building most things by hand and giving the place a soul that reflects simplicity, creativity, and personal growth.
This is a space in transition—a home being reborn. The house is undergoing refurbishment and reorganization, so accommodation may be rustic: a tent in the garden, a mattress on the floor, or even sleeping under a solid covered shed under the stars. It’s not luxury, but it’s cozy, calm, and filled with heart.
I’m looking for kind, open-minded people who enjoy getting their hands dirty: gardening, helping with small building tasks, tidying, organizing, or just bringing good energy to the space. This is also an art village, and every summer local houses become canvases for beautiful pop-up art. If you have creative ideas and would like to contribute your art, let’s talk—I’d love to collaborate!
I dream of this place becoming a small hub of cultural exchange, where we share stories, meals, skills, and learn from one another. I welcome people of all backgrounds, and I’m happy to accommodate any dietary or special needs—we just need to chat beforehand. There’s a well-equipped kitchen where we can cook together or take turns creating delicious meals.
About me: I love hiking in the mountains, meeting new friends, and learning new life skills. I’m also passionate about the sea and I’m about to take my RYA Day Skipper course, working toward becoming a certified sailor. If you know how to sail—or just love the sea—I’d be thrilled to connect!
The area around here is known for its rich thermal waters, and the city of Hisarya, with its mineral springs and amenities, is just 15 minutes away. If you’re traveling from Plovdiv, I can pick you up if I’m around at the time—it’s not a problem at all.
And lastly, you’ll be greeted by my lovely dog, Choko-pie 🐾—a calm, friendly soul who adores cuddles and is very quiet and well-behaved.
Whether you come to help, to learn, to create, or simply to slow down, you are welcome here. Let’s build something meaningful together—brick by brick, smile by smile.
