Description
Hello Everyone :)
I run a cozy hostel in Almora, near Kasar Devi. I am passionate about creating a welcoming space for travelers. I love meeting people from all around the world and learning about their cultures.
I’m looking to host volunteers from across the globe who are eager to contribute and experience life in the beautiful hills of Uttarakhand. If you are passionate, reliable, and excited to explore this peaceful part of India, I’d love to host you!
Our backpacking hostel and cafe is surrounded by pine, oak, and deodar forests, home to pheasants, monals, and leopards. Just 3-5 km away, Patiya village features fascinating rock formations, billions of years old, that reveal the geological history of the Kumaon Himalayas. Explore ancient rock shelters, historic temples, and peaceful mountain villages. Ideal for nature lovers and explorers, it’s a serene escape into Kumaon’s beauty and heritage.
We currently employ two locally paid staff member, a cook, who supports our daily meal preparation / kitchen operations, and a helper boy for cleaning.Types of help and learning opportunities
