  Guest Care Manager at Quinta do Vale – A Unique Retreat in Portugal
  
  Join us for an exciting opportunity to manage guest services at a beautiful retreat nestled near São Bartolomeu de Messines, Portugal. Our retreat includes four buildings, with two—our guest house and apartment block—available for rental. We’re looking for an experienced, organized, and dedicated **Guest Care Manager** to deliver top-notch guest services and ensure visitors have a comfortable, enjoyable stay.
  
  About the Role
  
  In this role, you’ll oversee all guest services, providing attentive care from arrival to departure. Key responsibilities include:
  
  - Coordinating check-in and check-out procedures, welcoming guests, and ensuring smooth transitions.
  - Responding promptly and professionally to guest inquiries and concerns.
  - Managing booking calendars across bnb and Booking.com to maximize occupancy.
  - Coordinating with cleaning staff for timely room turnover.
  - Reporting any maintenance issues to ownership for prompt resolution.
  - Overseeing the self-serve bar for guest house rentals, ensuring clear instructions for guests.

  Guest Services Manager Role
  
  The guest care manager will ensure smooth operations and a welcoming experience for all our guests. Key responsibilities include:
  
  - Guest Services: Assisting with check-in and check-out processes, greeting guests warmly, and offering tours of the guesthouse and apartment facilities to make guests feel at home.
  
  - Housekeeping Coordination: Organizing schedules with cleaning staff to guarantee efficient room turnovers, maintaining cleanliness standards for both the guesthouse and apartment block.
  
  - Maintenance Monitoring: Keeping a close watch for any repair needs within guest areas and reporting these promptly to management so that maintenance issues are handled efficiently.
  
  These responsibilities are essential to providing an exceptional guest experience and maintaining the high standards at Quinta do Vale.
  
  What We Offer
  
  - Compensation: €1,000 per month.
  - Accommodation: A spacious one-bedroom apartment with a kitchen and en-suite, providing a private, comfortable living space.

  Requirements
  
  -Previous experience in guest management, hospitality, or a similar role is required.
  - Fluent English is essential; German and Portuguese are highly desired.
  - Available from May to October (6-month term).

  The guest care manager will reside in a private, one-bedroom apartment, providing a comfortable and convenient living space. This role also comes with access to a shared pool, offering a great way to relax and enjoy the natural beauty of the place.
