    Description

    Hey, there!

We’re Valentina and Gabriela, two pals passionate about bringing new life to this charming 120-year-old house, transformed into an awesome hostel in the heart of Pichilemu, one of the world's most exciting surf destinations. When you come to stay with us, you'll likely catch us adding our artistic touch to the walls, and volunteers tinkering away in our greenhouse or adding their creative value.

Volunteers and guests alike tell us they find this such a suitable place to read, write, make music, and delve deeper into their creative endeavors since they quickly find inspiration in every area of the hostel. You’ll notice that we pour our hearts into keeping this place cozy and gorgeous, so if you’re into house renovations, this could also be the perfect place for you!

In downtown Pichilemu, on Ortuzar St, you’ll find plenty of spots to chill and hang out close to the hostel. A wide variety of local food restaurants, cool thrift stores, cultural bars, and convenient drugstores are within walking distance from here. What's more, within less than 10 minutes, you can stroll to La Puntilla Beach, a beautiful brown sand beach where you can enjoy a nice sunset view and practice surfing!

The hostel offers a mix of private and shared rooms. We usually have a dozen rooms that are available. We also have a spacious backyard where we keep our greenhouse (we’d love to build an outdoor climbing wall there too!). If you come during the summer, you’ll share the common spaces with plenty of cool travelers and surfers, and if you come during the down-season, you’ll enjoy the comfort and tranquility of living in a huge house with just a handful of friendly people.

You'll be accommodated in a 3-bed dorm, as we typically host a maximum of 3 volunteers at a time. You'll enjoy access to all the common areas in the hostel, along with a private bathroom reserved for volunteers. For hot showers, feel free to use the guest shared restrooms as much as you'd like.

Most importantly, our well-equipped kitchen is exclusively available for only me and the volunteers: Mandatory to be super proper at the kitchen so we can all enjoy it to the fullest. 🙂

  • What else ...

    What else ...

You can surf, go kayaking, horseback riding on the beach, enjoy a variety of gastronomic alternatives, and there are pubs and discos.

Another alternative is to visit the surroundings of Pichilemu such as: Punta de Lobos (great for surfing), Cahuil, Barrancas, Topocalma. In Cahuil, you'll discover the ins and outs of the salt extraction process.

Enjoy time with our beloved dogs: Rufina and Fela Kuti. They're friendly and you'll love them having them around.
