    Description

We are an educational eco-community and NGO dedicated to sustainable living, environmental awareness, and non-formal education. Our land is located on a 7.6-acre property in North East Peloponnese, just 130 km from Athens.

Originally founded in 2009 as a local eco-center focused on therapeutic work with children and families, we have since evolved into an international hub for non-formal education, sustainability, and community building. A major turning point came with our involvement in Erasmus+ and ESC programs, which allowed us to expand our reach and collaborate with people from across Europe and beyond.

Our mission is to create a space where people can explore, create, and learn, from each other and from nature. Here, people engage deeply with themselves, the community, and the environment, all while being guided by our core values:

    - Sustainability, drives eco-conscious practices
    - Accountability, encourages committed ownership, intention, and integrity
    - Synergy, embraces diversity, collaboration, and collective growth

Over the years, we have hosted more than 2,500 guests from around the world, offering hands-on experiences in natural building, regenerative farming, personal development, and community living. Our actions are grounded in four core pillars: Personal Development, Community Development, Cultural Heritage, and Environment.

By welcoming a diverse community of individuals that find meaning in our mission and values, including young people, educators, locals and farmers, we aim to contribute to a society that values community spirit and promotes personal, social, and environmental growth. Our vision is a society where people actively engage in personal, social, and environmental growth.

We continue to grow as a living example of what’s possible when people come together with purpose and heart. If what you read resonates with you, we welcome you to join us.

In general we have people around and we are happy if more people decide to come and join us for a while. We are offering space to explore a way of living in a community and close to nature where we can learn from each other.

We believe that every person can offer different kind of skillset and contribute to our place in their own way. We are welcoming help connected with cooking, gardening, wood working, natural building constructions, land and animal care, still the range of the possibilities of how to contribute is wide.

From December to March we are in so called "hibernation period" when our main focus is maintenance and development of the place.

From April to November we are in the project season when we are hosting Erasmus+ and ESC volunteering team projects so the focus is more on the help with hosting the groups and still improving the place.

To cover daily food expenses, we ask for a 7 euro/day contribution. There’s no charge for children under 10. We eat three meals per day breakfast, lunch and dinner and manage shopping from a common fund.

  • Accommodation

    Accommodation

From November to March, because of the cold temperature we can only host you if you can come with your own accomodation such as a van/car/etc. For that we can provide parking spot and access to the common toilets and showers.

From March to November we can provide you a space for a tent which, if needed, can be provided as well.

We invite you to join a life connected to nature. This means living in a simpler, more sustainable way, where things like a limited supply of hot water (or, in the summer, cold water). It’s all about aligning with the natural rhythms of the environment and fostering a sense of harmony with nature.

  • What else ...

    What else ...

During your time off, our place offers many spots to relax and have some nice time socialising with the participants of the projects we are hosting. There are always people around ready to exchange ideas and talks.

If you are up for a swim or some climbing, Nafplio is easily reachable by car. There are numerous great opportunities around as well, such as archeological sites (Argos, Mykenes, Nemea, etc.) or if you miss the big city vibes, Athens is only 130 km away.
