    Description

We are a small and relaxed hostel in the beautiful surfing and diving town of Santa Catalina, on the Pacific coast of Panama.
Our hostel has 2 dorm, 4 private rooms, and is owned by 2 Venezuelans

We have nice and spacious chillout areas, a pool and a lot fun with the travellers who come visit us. The hostel has been open for 10 years , and we are looking for volunteers to help sustain the great vibe of the place. This looks like talking with fellow travellers, helping them with any questions about the hostel and town, and creating a welcoming and fun environment for our guests.

You will help alongside 5 other hostel staff members, the two owners and other local staff.

We provide accomodation and free breakfast in exchange for your help. We rent a whole house just for the volunteers equiped with air conditioning, kitchen, TV and wifi.

We are a small close knit family and look forward to meeting, and spending time with you

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

Besides all the different nationalities you'll meet during your work, the hostel is in a small village where its easy for volunteers to exchange cultures. There is also a big local surf community - so if you want to learn or improve your surfing, it is the place to be!
Furthermore we have a lot of Spanish speaking people around at the hostel, so if youre currently working on your Spanish you will have plenty of opportunities to do so.

  • Help

    Help

The help you would do here in our hostel would include:
taking care of reservations and bookings, helping guests who have questions, being in charge especially in the evening if nobody else is here, helping with general hostel duties, bringing in your own ideas to make the hostel more appealing, cosy and organized.

We like to have a relaxed atmosphere with good vibes so that everybody feels as comfortable as possible. We are flexible in helping hours, if you help before noon you can go to the beach in the afternoon and relax, to be back in the evening and close everything before going to sleep, or the other way around. Details once youre here ;)
