Description
Hey! I'm Gilad, and I live in an olive grove near Volos, next to Mount Pelion, in Greece.
It's a special place — quiet, surrounded by nature, but only 15 minutes from the city. A nice combination of countryside life and easy access to everything :)
I have two gentle and beautiful dogs, and hopefully more animals in the future! The land is mainly covered with olive and almond trees, along with various fruit trees I've planted over the past few years.
I'm looking for people who enjoy nature, outdoor tasks, and a relaxed atmosphere. In exchange for 3 hours of help a day, I offer a comfortable, high-quality place to stay.
You will stay in your own private studio, with a private shower, a small kitchen, and heating and air conditioning, so you can enjoy your own space and privacy during your stay.
The help varies depending on the season and ongoing projects. It can include pruning, digging, clearing weeds, planting, and other projects around the land.
Things are quite flexible. Some of the tasks can be done independently, so you can organize your hours, and we'll also work together. I'm happy to share what I know, and hopefully we'll learn from each other along the way.
The Pelion area is beautiful, with mountains, beaches, traditional villages, and plenty of places to explore. I'm always happy to share recommendations and help you discover the area.
If this sounds like your kind of place, feel free to get in touch with any questions. I'd be happy to tell you more! :) -

Help
I welcome help in gardening, planting, help around the land (collecting branches for example) and different projects.
If you will come in the specific time also olive harvest, home wine making and more.
It's also about you, what interesting for you or what do you like or your ideas of course!
Most of the time we will do tasks together, and I can give tasks and you will do it on your time. I can teach all I know and all I'm learning myself every day. -

Accommodation
My place is also a vacation rental in the summer (there is no guests when i accept volunteers) saying that only to explain that the accommodations are in high level. I have a one bedroom studio for a couple that is completely private, and a tiny house also for a couple that is private. Just to be clear, you wont do work regarding the vacation rental or guests.

What else ...
It's better to have a car so you can be free to travel/go to the city. But I can pick you up from the bus station in volos and take rides with me when you need.
