Description
We're opening our home to workawayers wishing to come volunteer on our small acreage. We're currently working on developing the land we have to become self-sustainable. Our primary goal is to feed our family and friends with the produce from our land. In previous years our children have been the extra help we need from time to time. Tina is a professional photographer that works early mornings at a local café and drives buses for the local school run. Andrew is a retired high Voltage electrician who has recently returned to work driving heavy machinery.
We have multiple dogs that Tina takes away for competition showing which means we often need a house sitter for a few days.
Our daughter lives close by and regularly spends time at the farm and one of our sons often returns from overseas and spends small amounts of time living with us (he's the one who convinced us to start a workaway).Types of help and learning opportunities
