Description
This is a 3,000 acre, remote, spectacular property in the south eastern corner of NSW. 50km from remote, unspoilt beaches, surrounded by National Park in a hidden valley. Wildlife (kangaroos, wallabies, dingoes, eagles plus loads more) live outside the windows.
We are currently developing non-traditional ways to make this once cattle farm a model of sustainability
We are great travellers, been to many parts of the world and always enjoy meeting new people who can tell us a bout where they come from.
The farm work is not always easy but it’s rewarding, we pay well and we value everyone’s contribution.
I am based in Sydney, happy to meet with people in the city before they travel to the site to alleviate any concerns about being stuck in the outback with someone you dont 'connect' with.
We pay for and arrange your travel from either Sydney or Melbourne.Types of help and learning opportunities

Workawayers will experience Australian wilderness at its best in a sustainable, off grid architect designed home. Workawayers will learn about an award winning transformation of a farm that once was cattle oriented and is now focussed on sustainable outcomes for an environmentally sensitive landscape.
In addition, Workawayers will be treated fairly, fed well and we strive to make your stay one of the highlights of your trip to Australia. It’s not hard, this property is simply spectacular.Host offers payment in line with the minimum wage

Help
Work will include a lot of manual labour - December 2022 through to April 2023 we are seeking highly motivated guys and girls who are prepared to put in hard, long hours spraying blackberries (invasive weed). We will get you trained and certified to handle agricultural herbicides, you will do long days on the end of a 100m spray hose.
Couples/mates who travel together are welcome, spraying is the main game however there are plenty of projects to be completed around our beautiful property - oiling timber windows and doors, gardening, landscaping.
In return we'll feed and pay you well, make the work rewarding and provide insight into an important ecological recovery project that will continue on for many decades. Our goal is to help people make a life long connection with our landscape and reap the rewardsLanguages spoken

Accommodation
4 bedroom guest wing, each bedroom with ensuite bathroom. Workawayers will eat and relax in the main lodge as a group in a fun and inclusive family environment, food and lodging are part of the payment package.
What else ...
It is very remote, the nearest shop is a 45 minute drive down rarely used gravel roads. You will have use of a car for trips off the property can include to the remote beaches near Eden, NSW, visit historic whaling stations, hiking etc however, understand, what makes this special is being in a special place where the outside world is left behind and you can experience solitude and tranquility. In a group, you will hopefully make some new friends, have lots of laughs and feel a valued part of a group.
