Description
We live and work in a certified organic farm. We work with biodynamic agriculture as well as food forest. We also work with bees and shiitake mushrooms. We have multiples tasks that goes from farming, taking care of the mushrooms and the bees as well as constructions with earth and taking care of the home we live. The chickens are also part of your organism, we must take care of then every day. We are situated in the beautiful mountains of mantiqueira.
In the tasks there is harvesting the shiitake everyday and then there the garden to take care and also the bees.

I'm ready to share my knologe and experience in the areas of biodynamic agriculture and food forest as well with the shiitake production and the biodynamic approach of beekeeping.
Also we participate in a group of maracatu and capoeira. All volunteers are invited to get to know this Brazilians manifestations!
Help
We work with the shiitake everyday. The must be harvested everyday and a few days a week there are other tasks to do with them. Besides that there is the garden and the food forest do take care and the bees (which are a more seasonal work). We decide the tasks of the week according to the different needs of the farm an the different seasons of the year.

Accommodation
We will share the house. The workwayers will have their own room or will share with in other volunteers, maximum two per room. We have all the meals together. Using mainly organic products from the farm and from the organic distributor in town.
We sugest an optional contribution of 15 reais per day to help with food costs, also is possible to buy your own food and cook it.

This is very beautiful place for walks and hikes. The mountains of goncalves are very preserved and with magnificent nature.
