Description
I am a 42 year old Portuguese single who is living in this family farm for some years now. I am currently establishing a Permaculture Garden with approximately 5000 sqm, planning to make raised beds for horticulture and planting a variety of fruit trees.
I'm vegetarian for some years and have some fruits and vegetables from the farm.
I am also running B&B at the house and I'm planning to organize lectures, workshops and other activities on these themes, namely Permaculture, Natural/Raw food, Natural Healing, and hosting people who wish to learn more about this and who seek advice on nutrition and health.
The farm is mainly composed of olive grove, orchard and arable land, and it has water in abundance. There is a plan to build a natural pond for water storage and bathing/swimming during summertime.
It is located in central Alentejo, Portugal, near Mora and Montemor-o-Novo, at approximately 1h30min. of travel distance from Lisbon, lying in a transition region between the Ribatejo and the Alentejo provinces which stands out for its unique natural beauty.
The house has approximately 150 sqm and was nicely restored in typical style.
A hilltop in the estate provides commanding panoramic views over the countryside.
