Description
Hey there! We are Andy (45), Christine (42) and our two boys Samyo (4) and Malou (3). We live in a small town close to Leipzig (Northern Saxonia). Here we bought a former workshop with several studios and a garden. The place is located in between the castle of Eilenburg (Schloßberg) and a small and very romantic river (Mühlgraben). We already implemented a yoga studio, and rental Apartment and an Auto repair workshop.
At the moment we are trying to create a garden for our family with edable wild plants and beehives.
We welcome anybody who is interested in staying with us for a while.Types of help and learning opportunities
Babysitting and creative playCreating/ Cooking family mealsHelp around the houseCultural exchange and learning opportunities
You can of course stay with us and get to know language, culture, nature and food. We have travelled a lot ourselves and are happy to show you great places around the area.
Our place is like a great Playground for adults…You can learn some yoga, meditation or go for a walk with me in the meadows and learn about edible wild plants.
Maybe your childhood dream is to gear an excavator, a truck or a wheel loader, please feel free to do so. (Of course just for fun)
You can also go for a boat trip with our boat. Or use our bikes. Or if you like also go rock climbing with us.Projects involving children
This project could involve children. For more information see our guidelines and tips here.
Help
We need help in our private home especially with our two kids.
Just to give you an idea, what you could help us with: helping take care /play/sing/learn/… with the kids (you can speak your mother tongue or english), preparing meals, or help around our home, like doing laundry, vacuming or grocery shopping etc.
Maybe you also like to help in the garden, we are trying to plant and preserve fruits and vegetables, or create a litte playground for the kids, and build our behive.Languages

The area surrounding us, is extraordinary in nature. The Mulderiver and Muldelake are great for fishing , sailing or boat trips. The Meadows around the Mulderiver with their old oak trees are a fantastic place for walking or cycling tours starting from our home.
We also have some places to go rock climbing nearby.

Somehow she always knew what the kids (1&2 years old) wanted or needed. They loved her at first sight…. I guess because of her calm, open and friendly nature.
