Description
We live in a small village called Orgiva, mountains, drinking water sources, and old water irrigation system, of snow melting from the sierra Nevada directly to our farm.
We farm 100% ecological, we have a big vegetables garden and fruit trees, and we produce our own olive oil, (for self consumption), and we are off-grid.
We are looking for help in the garden, hopefully for people with some experience, so we can exchange our knowledge, and make the land beautiful.
We grow plants and plant trees, we are also in the mid of constructing our house to be ready in a few months.
We live 2 min by foot from an amazing swimming river.
We have 2 sweet cats.
At the moment we can offer a caravan, dry toilet and a warm shower. We even have a pool.
We are a small family of 3. Guillaume, Mira and Marlie, our daughter of 15.
We sometimes need a woofer, and sometimes a house sitter.
Our farm is located 15 min by foot to the center with ALL you need. 4 Organic shops, supermarkets, cafes, shopping, mechanics, 2nd hand shops, technology stores and even repairs. You don't need to go to a big city we have all in the village. And every Thursday a big Market.
It really is a spectacular view and location. There are many activities in town, classes, events, parties, and shows. There are amazing trails just outside our garden, leading up to the sierra Nevada, to the 7 lagunas, to the sea and mountain.
It is quiet and with everything you need. 45 min from the beach, 45 min from the snow, 45 min from Granada. -

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
My name is Mira,
I am a passionate Acrobat, gymnastics and partner Acrobatics teacher. I always enjoy sharing this skill if you have ever been exposed to Acro!
I make my own bread, fermentations, kambucha, we cook our meals from what we grow, I have myself travelled many years, and learned cooking all over the world, and am happily willing to show and share these recepies. We always enjoy moments as a family rolling vine leaves, for a delicious meditation meal, and if there is help on the farm, more time for these precious moments, which we will gladly share.
If it is the moment to make fermentations you can do it with me too. We grow our own food and have learned to preserve it too. This could be something I will gladly share too.
I make my plants from seeds that I have grown, which are all ancient varieties from "Nativity seeds" company originally.
My Partner Guillaume is an ecological house builder, carpenter, and built our solar panels, which make us independant, and conciouse if what we consume. basically he can build whatever we need to live. We might need help making an even more comfortable space for woofers, so there can be building to share with him.
He is in charge of the olives, and we make our own Green Organic olive oil. We plant trees, prune them, graft trees, and we live off-grid connected with the nature. Getting the gifts from the nature but also giving back to the land.
If you came to stay with us you can help in any of these tasks and learn from our experience, but we are also very open to learning from your experiences. We enjoy speaking different languages, swimming in water, which flows all around us, walking in nature, so we can help you find a nice route for your adventures. -
