Description
We are a French family of 5 living on the beautiful island of Moorea looking for a solo traveler or a couple, or even a family to help us with our children around the 10th to the 20th of October, in exchange for a stay at our nice large house with garden and swimming pool, only a few minutes away from breathtaking landscapes and beaches. A driver's license and a vehicle is needed for the job. We would have a preference for a native Spanish speaker or French speaker but open to other possibilities.
Hola! Se busca una persona de lengua materna española de preferencia ! - Somos una familia francesa viviendo en la hermosa isla de Moorea. Estamos buscando a una sola persona, o una pareja, o incluso una familia que nos ayude con los niños entre el 1o y el 10 de septiembre o entre el 10 y el 20 de octubre. En cambio, le ofrecemos la estancia en nuestra grande casa con jardin y piscina, a solo unos minutitos de estuspendos paisajes y playas. Se requiere poder manejar un carro y tener su propio vehículo.

We we'll be here to share with you our little piece of paradise. Give you advice on the best places around Moorea, whether beach, hiking, tours, activities.... There's so much to do in Moorea and we can connect you with people who do local Polynesian handcrafts, local music, and so much more.
We have traveled a lot and speak many languages (French, English, Spanish, Italian, Japanese, Vietnamese...!) and we are always happy to share about that.
Estaremos aqui para compartir nuestro pedazito de paraiso. Le daremos consejos sobre los mejores sitios que visitar en Moorea, sea playa, montaña, restaurantes, tours.... Hay un monton de cosas que hacer en Moorea y te podremos conectar con personas locales que hacen musica tradicionales, manualidades, etc....
Hemos viajado mucho y hablamos muchos idiomas (francés, inglés, español, italiano, japonés y vietnamita...!) y siempre nos gusta compartir esto.

Help
We are looking for help for specific dates (10th to 20th of October - if you can be here a few days before / after those dates that works well for us). Your main task will be watching over our three children : 2 girls aged 9 and 7 and 1 boy aged 3. Your main task will be picking them up from school and playing around with them. Some basic help with the house might be needed such as cooking and basic cleaning around. Optionals but we also have a garden so I might have some plant caring requests, only if you're into gardening and you find some fun in doing it.
For this workaway you must :
- love to be around children
- have experience with children
- have a driver's license and be ready to challenge yourself to a couple meters of bad road at the entrance of the property :)
- you need to have your own rental car as I will need my car for work
We would especially love someone who is a native Spanish Speaker (because we were living in Costa Rica before here andy kids were speaking Spanish but are tending to forget). Note that my kids do not speak English, so only apply if French (their mother tongue) or Spanish is one of your languages.
We can help you learn French in return !
We would rather have a female workawayer but may consider a couple or a family as well.

Estamos buscando a una persona que cuide a nuestros 3 niños (2 niñas de 9, 7 y un niño de 3 años) para fechas específicas (del 1 al 13 de septiembre, o del 10 al 20 de octubre - mejor si puede llegar un poco antes). La idea es recoger a los niños a la escuela y pasar unas horas por día jugando con ellos o vigilandolos, adicionalmente nos gustaría un poco de ayuda con el hogar pero nada tremendo. Si le gusta jardinería, tenemos un jardín que merecería un poco de ayuda de vez en cuando, pero no es una obligacion.
Para este workaway, es imprescindible que :
- te guste estar con niños
- tengas unas experiencias cuidando a niños
- tengas un carnet de conducir y tenga un vehículo de alquiler para recoger a los niños a la escuela y si esta disponible lo podras utilizar para visitar la isla. También nota que el final del camino (solo unos metros) esta en mal estado...
No encantaria tener a alguien que tenga el español como idioma materno porque antes de vivir aqui en Polinesia estabamos viviendo un año en Costa Rica donde los niños aprendieron español y nos gustaria que no se lo pierdan demasiado. Nota que ellos no hablan inglés, solo francés y un poco español, entonces mejor sea una persona que hable por lo menos uno de los dos idiomas.
Preferimos a una chica. Podemos considerar a una pareja.

I (Laetitia) have lived in several countries including Japan, Spain, the US and Costa Rica. I have taught French - my mother tongue - in the past. I'd be more than happy to share my language knowledge with you.
Accommodation
You will be staying at our large house, sleeping in a bed on our mezzanine or if you prefer we can accommodate a bedroom for you. You will share the kitchen and bathroom with us.
You can of course enjoy our pool. Food provided.
Usted estara durmiendo en nuestra grande casa, en una cama grande en la planta alta (no es un cuarto cerrado pero tiene su espacio propio). El cuarto de baño y la cocina estaran compartidos con nosotros. Tendra acceso a la piscina y al jardin.
What else ...
We are non smoking family. We are not completely closed to smoking persons as long as you smoke outside and not with the children.
There's plenty to do in Moorea but there is no public transportation and a driver's license is compulsory for this workaway. You will be able to use our car when available and we can also show you around some cool places when we have time.
I have a precise schedule in mind for when the babysitting will take place. It will most likely be on weekdays between 2-5, 3 days a week, and from 11 to 5, 2 days a week. Besides that you will pretty much be free.
No fumamos. No me molesta que sea una persona fumadora siempre que fume fuera y lejos de los niños.
Hay muchisimo que hacer en Moorea pero no hay transporte publico y es necesario que Ud tenga un carnet de conducir para este workaway. Le prestaremos nuestro vehiculo y cuando tengamos tiempo, le podemos llevar a los mejores sitios de Moorea.
Tengo una idea precisa de cuando sera el babysitting, sobre todo los dias de semana entre las 2 y las 5 de la tarde, 3 dias por semana y de las 11 a las 5, 2 dias por semana. A parte de esto tendra mas o menos tiempo libre.
