    Description

You are welcome to come and enjoy our Farm stay in South West Victoria.

We are currently planting trees to encourage koala, bush mammals and kangaroos back to our farm and could use your help. We also have four horses and three dogs in need of loving care each day as well as pet sheep. Language exchange is encouraged and we love to try new food if you love to cook.

I'm a traveling veterinarian and happy to have company so there's lots of opportunity to travel and visit the south-west of Victoria including the surf-coast near Geelong, or the goldfields at Ballarat, see whales at Warrnambool and visit the Grampians mountain range.

Included in your stay is your own private room within the house, all food, fuel for your car if you have one or use of our vehicle. The house is comfortable with a wood fire and split system. Shared bathroom.

We hope you can come and enjoy the peace on our farm and look forward to hearing from you.

  • Help

    Help

Flexible duties and hours, and perks such as fuel (diesel) for your car in return for help are included to allow you to travel and explore the region. We need help in the house (general cleaning) and on the farm with planting & watering trees, maintaining fences, collecting wood, and care for the animals. Tending to the vegetable garden and occasionally dog-sitting and if you like cooking, we'd love that too!

  • What else ...

    What else ...

Best to have your own vehicle as there is little access to public transport and lots to see in our region. You can also travel with me on my weekly rounds throughout the south west.
Nearest pick up for public transport is bus to Lake Bolac or Mortlake or train to Terang train station. I can also collect you from Geelong, Ballarat or Warrnambool on my regular runs.
