    Description

Come and experience the beautiful east coast of Canada while you help the host renovate a home into a work of art - it is a fun and creative project! I live right next to a national park with one of the best local beaches only 14 km away and over 60 km of hiking and biking trails - and I have a bike that you can use and just got a couple of kayaks as well! I also make occassional trips to one of the nearby towns and the city of Moncton.

I am an English language teacher so if you are looking to improve your English I can help improve your pronunciation and explain the structure of the language for you. I also am happy to share what I know of Canadian culture. I am new to the French Acadian culture that is around me now on the east coast - we can learn more about it together!

If you have any experience working on a house renovation it will be useful. I am transforming a home into something more beautiful - this includes putting in beautiful glass tiles, new flooring, and getting rid of ugly old interiors! There also might be a few small carpentry jobs.

Here is a list of attractions (list from a nearby bed and breakfast):

You can explore a beautiful and unique area. We are located at the Acadian coastal route that runs through an area renowned for its spirited Acadian culture and its sandy beaches and other beautiful destinations. A boardwalk for a 2 km hike (NB trail) starts right in our back yard.

A few other ideas to satisfy your hunger for tranquillity or action:

    Kouchibouguac National Park (4 km)
Kouchibouguac National Park includes barrier islands, sand dunes, lagoons, salt marshes and forests. It provides habitat for many seabirds, including endangered species. Colonies of seals also inhabit the park’s 25 kilometres of sand dunes. The park’s size is 238 km². Recreational activities in the park include swimming, biking, hiking, cross country skiing and snowshoeing.
Kouchibouguac has many activities ranging from a river adventure in a canoe to going seal watching to learn about Mi’kmaq people.

Visitors to this area of the New Brunswick coast will find a memorable tourism experience in a unique natural environment
