I travel a lot for work, so I am looking for a trusted pet/house sitter for my two cats Chulo and Alby. Both boys are very friendly and love to snuggle up. The cats love company but feel free to go out and explore the city.
Open to singles, friends or couples. Free accommodation, with the house to yourself, in exchange for pet sitting. Everyone welcome LGBTQ+ friendly.
Stay in a 4 bed, 4 bathroom Thai townhouse. The house includes a brand new, fully equipped kitchen (rarity in Thailand), open plan living room, open plan dining room, ensuite bedrooms. The house offers simple but comfortable living. There are air conditioners in the bedrooms and fans in the living areas. One bedroom has a western style king-size bed with an ensuite. The second bedroom has bunk beds with a Thai mattress and ensuite (second bedroom available for friends/family travelling together). The bathrooms don’t have a water heater but the metal water tank keeps the water tepid, which is refreshing in the Bangkok heat and is never too cold. There’s no wifi in the house but there is a cute coworking cafe 5 minutes walk away and unlimited data SIMs are cheap from AIS (I can help you with this).
The house is situated in a safe, friendly community, located close to Phrakanong (Sukhumvit 71). It is walking distance to the canal boats, which take you into the centre of town (Prompong, Asoke) for 20THB, within 15 minutes. It is also a 10-15 minute bike ride to Phrakanong BTS, Ekkamai and Thong Lor. The Airport rail link station (Sukhumvit 71 or Hua Mak) are under 10 minutes by bike from the house so easy access to BKK airport or the city centre. There is also a bus stop at the end of the street. It’s walking distance to the main road with two malls, three supermarkets (Big C, Foodland, Gourmet), lots of shops, restaurants and a night market.
Although you will have the house to yourself, depending on dates, I will be available to orientate you in the house and anything you need to know about the area. If you’re interested get in touch and we can arrange a call. Cat/house sitting experience and references a bonus.

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
Bangkok can be a crazy, busy city. Settle in to a house tucked away from the chaos but still within easy reach of everything.
There is a lot to see and do, all accessible by public transport or taxi (car/bike).
There are lots of hidden gems in Bangkok, so I’ll prepare a guide to things social media doesn’t tell you about. I’ll also be contactable via WhatsApp throughout your stay should you have any questions. Happy to give a reference/review on completion.
I’ve made a little guide about the cats, house and local area with some information about places to visit in Bangkok and Thailand. I’ll also be reachable over WhatsApp and Line during your stay. -

What else ...
There are so many things to do in Bangkok, it’s difficult to list them all here:
- Museums
- Temples
- Grand Palace
- Street art
- Festivals
- Night markets
- Escape rooms
- Themed bars
- Theme parks
- Water parks
House rules are very limited. Just make sure to lock the front gate when you go out, make sure the cats are cared for, and turn off the air conditioning and lights when not in the room. No parties or unapproved guests (it’s a quiet neighbourhood). -

Can host digital nomads
Cat-related duties should only take around 30 minutes a day (although when you’re home they could cuddle you all day). Digital nomads are welcome. There isn’t wifi at the house but I can help you with a cheap unlimited data SIM from AIS and there is a coworking cafe 5 minutes walk away as well as lots of great cafes to work from across the city (happy to give suggestions, I co-work from cafes much of the time). There are also English co-working meetings-up groups in the city (queer women coworking and general co-working).
-
Space for parking camper vans
There is parking available in the front courtyard. But you are welcome to stay inside the house if you would prefer.

My animals / pets
Chulo (4 years)
Found abandoned on the street, still in his birthing sack, Chulo (meaning handsome road-man in Tagalog) was hand raised and socialised with 3 dogs. He doesn’t quite know how to be a cat but he loves to tell you about his day and snuggle up. He’s one of the most chilled out cats you will ever meet.
Alby (1 year)
Some local aunties found Alby abandoned in a box when he was around a week old. The plan was to temporarily foster him, but I fell in love. He was hand-reared and would follow me wherever I went. Alby loves to chat and lots of cuddles. He can be a bit cheeky and has kitten energy so loves to play. Recently he was diagnosed with Leukaemia and Lymphoma (likely passed from his mum), we’re trying our best to manage it so he’s comfortable and cared for. He recently had his first dose of chemotherapy.
