Description
I am slowly but surely building life on Galiano Island and would like to share a bit of my journey with you. With 5 forested acres surrounding me, near a provincial marine park and beaches in the southern gulf islands of BC Canada, I love the opportunity to share this incredible place with interested travellers and helpers.
A musician since I was 6, I'm deeply involved in songwriting and performing arts.
I also enjoy fitness, conversation, hiking and nature, singing in harmony, laughing at goofy things, being a lifelong learner, collaborative living and good food.
Being an outgoing introvert, a balance of solitude and social time is essential.
When I'm not on Galiano Island, I often head out on the road as a touring musician and have taken workawayers along with me so if this type of adventure is something that interestes you please say so.

The home is on have five acres of land and I am slowly fixing up an old character house and have plans to build a sauna / bathhouse. I'd appreciate help with gardening, house keeping, landscaping, carpentry, general labour, and maintenance. On the creative front, assistance with admin, digital media creation, graphic design, sound engineering, editing, videography, photography & creative project management also welcomed. If you are a kinisologist, personal trainer, physiotherpist, pilates instructor or masage therapist, please say so. I also have had some fantastic experiences taking workaway helpers on tour with me, so if a musical road adventure sounds fun, please say so.

Accommodation
Lovely vintage Airstream, outhouse, outdoor shower, outdoor kitchen in summer. In fall / winter, indoor kitchen and bathroom.

Very close to swimming beaches and parks, spectacular hiking etc. Island has restaurants, a pub and more. Kayak, moped and paddle board rentals close by spring/summer/fall, motorized bicycle rentals also available on island.
