Description
We are a small hotel business led by our passion for outdoors and comfort alike. In our team we have workawayers that stayed, that are returning every few years as well as local personnel in order to give a true and unique experience of our area in the Allgäu. Our treehouse-apartments are located on the foot of our skiing mountain in a small village in the Upper Allgäu between Immenstadt and Oberstaufen. Our goal is to create a unique and marvellous place that gives opportunity to explore the outdoors as well as space for wellness and relaxation. A place in which people truly feel happy during their vacation.
We offer our workers a health-insured job paying €14/hour before taxes and free accommodation.

You still have enough free time to explore the mountains and nature surrounding us.
It's an ideal place for you if you enjoy tranquility and nature. Perfect if you have personal projects, work online, or want some time away from the hustle and bustle of the city. However, you'll be 30 minutes away from Kempten, a bigger city with plenty of things to do and more activity. And just 15 minutes from Immenstadt, a smaller town where you can do your shopping.Host offers payment in line with the minimum wage

Help
Typically, the workday starts around 10 AM and ends at 3 PM, when the guests arrive for the houses. We also need to take care of delivering breakfast and checking the pools in the morning (approximately from 7:30 to 8:30 AM), and we take turns doing this throughout the week.
Your main responsibility will be to clean and prepare the beautiful treehouses for the arrival of our guests—making the beds, cleaning the bathrooms, exchanging towels, clean the whirlpools, and arranging everything nicely. Occasionally, you will also take care of some gardening tasks and the general maintenance of simple things at the chalet, as well as doing shopping for drinks, Joghurts, etc.
We try to ensure that our workawayers only work 5 days a week. Payment is €14 per hour before taxes, which includes accommodation, paid holidays, and health insurance. Due to the official work contract, you will need a working visa or a European passport.
In general, we only accept workawayers who can stay at least three months, preferably longer. It takes some time to get used to the tasks and routine, so that you are able to work independently.

Accommodation
We provide free accommodation. The apartment is fully furnished, located above the local bakery in town. It must be shared with another workawayer but everyone has their own private room.
We also provide a car, which you will share with the other workawayer. We cover the cost of petrol for commuting to work as well as for private use.
What else ...
As mentioned we are surrounded by beautiful nature. Tourists come for hiking, mountainbiking and skiing. For the summer, there are beautiful lakes in the nearby area, and Lake Constance (Bodensee) is just 50 minutes from the apartment. In winter, there are many ski slopes in the surrounding area, including the one right next to the chalets, where you'll enjoy free access for the entire season.
Having a manual driving license is essential for getting around as public transportation is not really an option (we provide a car).
