Description
We are looking for workawayers who will have their own en suite accomodation either in our en suite chalets or self contained en suite guest rooms. Our preference is for couples or groups of two or more workawayers together. We strive for a "community" atmosphere with our workawayers, eating, drinking, and entertaining ourselves together after work in the evenings. We provide and cook the meals which are a broad omnivore range of foods and cuisines. We dont double our efforts by preparing separate meals for differing diet preferences. We expect fair input from workaways in daily househols chores.
Our property is a one hectare small holding in rural Andalusia, Spain, bordering Portugal's Algarve. We are totally off grid, solar electric, well water, gas/wood heating cooking. It is 1km from a sealed road, 7km from nearest village. (Or three miles by boat)
We have enhanced it with a vineyard, olive and citrus trees. On top of this is a substantial kitchen garden with the long term aim of being self sufficient in veg and fruit.
We have a swimminmg pool with terrace and bar.
We have a jetty, boats and Canoes for fun. Our house is raised on hillside with magnificent panoramic views up and down river. On average someone drives to the local village ( with shopping, bank, bars, pharmacy) 2 or 3 times per week, and often on to nearby towns.
Have approx 100 m of private river bank with jetty.

They were fit, strong and willing. They were tidy and helful around the house.
They were intuitive, working out how to address an issue, and executing the solution. they needed very little guidance and only needed input once. We achieved much more thatn we had hoped for during their time here.
