Lucy was really friendly and helpful, super respectful of our place, and great at monitoring her own hours and generally getting on with the tasks that we needed help with. We actually needed some help reupholstering some daybeds and making cushions from some fabric that we had, so the brief was pretty clear, but she just got on with it and didn't

I stayed at Sophies and Julians Paradies Place in March, when spring was already blooming in Ibiza. I had an amazing stay with lots of calmness, small adventures and interesting talks!! Julian is a passionate cook and Sophie was very caring and friendly. I did some childcare for their cute children and mainly used my time to sew cushions for some

I can highly recommend this place for a stay - literally in the nature with a view on the sea!!

Sophie and Julian are excellent hosts! Upon arriving I felt welcome immediately and I stayed for about 2 weeks. The help is super fair and the food they share with you is delicious. If you are looking for a workaway place where you can enjoy sunny days, coastal hikes and Ibiza countryside, don't hesitate to go here!
Sophie and Julian are both
… read more really kind, happily shared information about the Island and always wanted to help you out. They sent me bus time tables so I knew exactly how to get there, and Sophie even drove me to the airport when I was going home again. I also loved their super friendly cats Patch, Pickles and Flatface (haha) <3
I had my own room with a super comfortable bed, heating and WiFi connection. I felt free in their kitchen and didn't have to be afraid to go hungry. They both cook delicious food and we also barbecued in the garden two times! There were also a lot of oranges (received from a friend) and I could make freshly pressed orange juice for breakfast (so so so good!).
I did about 3-4 hours of garden tasks (mostly weeding because it was spring!) there on the weekdays and had the weekends off, but I could also help on a Saturday to get a Monday off for example, so it's really flexible. They were always grateful for my help and thanked me for the help I did during the day. It's a small and simple thing but it made me happy and makes me want to do my best! :) Also the communication was great from the beginning! It was clear what they expected me to do and not to do, which is super important.
The place itself is rural and there are a lot of nice hiking paths starting literally next to the house. It's also only about a 20 min walk to a super beautiful beach called Cala Bassa! It's not the easiest to go to Ibiza town from there with public transportation, but it's doable if you're motivated and don't care about that it will take a while ;) Sometimes they will go to a town or city and you can get a ride there if you want to. I joined Sophie for a hot yoga class in Ibiza town one evening, which was super fun!
Thank you Sophie, Julian, Charlotte & Felix for a great workaway experience, and I hope I will see you all again some day :)You can only contact Workawayers who have an active membership.

Sophie and Julian were excellent at keeping in touch before and during my stay and kindly picked me up and drop me at the airport. The house was in beautiful countryside and not far from bars and beaches but due to the exceptional heat this summer and me not hiring a car, I found it difficult to get out and about. However, Sophie took me to Ibiza
… read more town (when she was going on business); the beach and bought me a fan for my room to make me as comfortable as possible. Whilst I was there, I enjoyed up-cycling some chairs, sorting out the tomato plants in the vegetable patch, collecting eggs, feeding the chickens, making snacks for the children and some light housework sorting out children's clothes and toys. Julian is an excellent cook - so I loved the food! The heatwave was too much for me so I had to leave after 2 weeks which was very disappointing but I will return to Ibiza now I know it.You can only contact Workawayers who have an active membership.

Sophie and Julian are very nice. I stayed in my campervan on there land. I could go in the house to get everything I needed.
The kids are great. I liked working there.
There was good communication. If either wanted to shift hours there was always a solution.
If I come to Ibiza again I hope I can stay with Sophie and Julian.
