  • Description

    Description

We live 5 km walking from some awesome beaches in South West Portugal.

Creating an arty geeky musical community on 2,5 hectare in a natural park. Plenty of things to help with, e.g.
    - fixing small things in and around the house
    - keeping the place clean and organized
    - gardening
    - making trails
    - cooking (mostly vegan)
    - when there's a lot of rain: digging to ensure the water flows away
    - handling invasive species such as watsonia and acacia
    - no solarpunk yet, but very interested

Anything between 1 and 4 people.
    - There's plenty of space for (cara)vans.
    - We often have guests, also thru hospitality platforms

It's 10 km to town with a big supermarkets and other stores, if I'm going somewhere I'm happy to give you a ride. It's also super easy to hitchhike in this area. Lagos is about 25 minutes away by car.

There are plenty of tools to work with.

There are several bicycles that you could use to get around. Town would be a bit far but on Wednesdays there's a nice local place to get veggies and more. Nearest supermarket by bicycle would be 7 km.

Last minute and shorter periods such as one week are easier to organize right now but looking to do longer residencies for artists, musicians, activists and geeks who work on free open source software.

About working: MAXIMUM 5 hours a day, 5 days a week. No early morning meetings here.

There's plenty of stuff to do inside and outside, and I want you to enjoy your time here. Working on an extensive knowledge base with information about the place, about potential tasks, planting trees, composting, irrigation, practical information around food, laundry, sleeping arrangements.

If possible I prefer to meet in person so you can check the vibe and the place before committing to several weeks.
