    Description

    My name is Gideon.

I’m a freelance photographer and videographer, but my real passion lies in building something meaningful for my village.

I started a small English learning community for children here creating a fun and safe space where they can learn, play, and grow in confidence. For many of them, this is their first exposure to English, and we believe it can open doors to a wider world and brighter opportunities in the future.

Our village is located on the beautiful slopes of Mount Sindoro, surrounded by fresh air, green landscapes, and a slower rhythm of life. Most people here are tobacco and coffee farmers, producing high-quality crops that are part of our daily life. If you're curious, you'll have the chance to learn about local farming practices and see how things really work on the ground.

What makes this place truly special is the people. Life here is simple, warm, and deeply connected. Hospitality is not something we try to offer it’s just who we are.

We are also proud of our culture. Traditional arts are still alive in the village, from music to performances, and you may have the chance to experience or even participate in them.

This is not just a place to volunteer.
It’s a place to slow down, connect, and become part of a community.

If you enjoy working with children, sharing your culture, and experiencing authentic village life this might be the place for you.
