From now onwards we mainly need help with maintenance.
If you are interested in having a relaxed stay in the middle of the nature with only little work to do (between 10-15 h a week) and just enjoy some quiet time for yourself this is the place for you! From September on we are slowing down with some activities and renovation, therefore there will be less work and simple tasks only. This is why we need only one volunteer at the time. If you are an independent individual with passion for hiking and nature, and like occasional campfire and ice-bathing, you will have a great time here :)

Come to help us with our renovation project and enjoy the nature and a yogic living.
We are Anna and Jannik, we are a couple living in the heart of the Black Forest with our cat Levia. Jannik comes from Berlin, he is a social worker and he is also studying psychology. I am a photographer and a yoga teacher from Poznan, Poland.
We are both yogis with many years of experience in practicing meditation and Hatha Yoga. In the begging of last year we have moved into this house in the middle of the nature, located at the altitude about 1000m and by the stream Ravenna. The house is a typical Black Forest wooden house, that was built in 1800, and then renovated in 1970, so it has a lot of history. We would like to renovate the house and to take care of the garden so we can create a beautiful and cosy place to practice yogic living.
With the aim to create a safe and elevated place for spiritual growth and a yogic lifestyle, we are dedicated to keep our place alcohol, cigarettes and drug free, so if you choose to come here we kindly ask you to respect that rule throughout the whole time of your stay. That also includes that while living with us, we ask you not to be under the influence of any of these substances at all times.

You will have some very relaxed and quiet time in the middle of the beautiful nature of the Black Forest with plenty hiking paths at your doorstep, a cat to cuddle and opportunity to explore Freiburg and other local attractions :)
After competing your daily tasks you will still have plenty of time to work remotely , focus on your personal growth and your individual projects.

We will provide essential food ingredients for preparing your own vegetarian meals; like rice, potatoes, fresh vegetables, oatmeal, flour, bread, cooking oil, pasta ...etc. This can be adjusted to any special food requirements.
We are vegetarians and we would like that our place is free from any meat preparation, consumption or storage.
What else ...
Directly at the house you will have an access to many beautiful hiking trails. The closest super market (well equipped) is only 20 minutes walk (we also have some spare bicycles here). Closest lake is reachable by public transport 25 minutes away. In the winter closest skiing lift is only 30 minutes of walking distance. Train station is 25 minutes away and takes you within half an hour to Freiburg with a lot of attractions like restaurants, theatres, cinemas, swimming pools and shopping centres.
