  We are a kiwi family with a small mountain Lodge in Hakuba. We love the outdoors (which is why we have chosen to live here!). Sometimes we are looking for staff for our accommodation business, and sometimes we are looking for general helpers to help with our family life or general yard work etc.
  
  CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR a few people to help with yard work. Clearing a section, chopping wood etc. Driving will be a requirement, so at least one helper will need to have their international drivers licence and be willing to drive a manual vehicle. Helpers will stay in a separate residence to the family, but can expect to be in regular contact with children and a gentle dog.
  
  Right now we are not looking for anyone for Winter, but at other times we are open to having a couple of people to help with a range of tasks from cleaning to gardening to renovation. Priority will be given to anyone with trade/renovation experience, but most importantly a can do attitude and ability to work unassisted.

  Hakuba is a wonderland of nature a and outdoor activities. In the summer/autumn there is mountain biking, hiking, rivers and lakes to enjoy. The winter it's a mecca for skiing and snowboarding. We live down a friendly street with close contact with our Japanese neighbours. We are an easy going couple that are keen to share our home and local knowledge with like minded and helpful travellers (we are travellers and have done workaway ourselves in the past, so we get what you're up to).

  Help

  See description for current tasks we need help with.
  We are looking for people that are happy to help out with house keeping tasks (making beds, cleaning bathrooms etc.) and helping with grounds/gardening, renovation or building, it all depends on the season. Good English language is a must, Japanese language would be extremely helpful! Knowledge and willingness to do digital marketing for us would also be appreciated.

  We're happy to pick you up from Hakuba station or Hakuba bus terminal. We're also easy walking distance to Echoland Main St which has convenience store, restaurants and bars. In winter there is a free bus service to the resorts. There are bikes available for use.
