    Description

"Hello, how are you? We would like to share a little bit of our story and invite you to be part of it. Some years ago, we found this special place where time seems to run differently and difficulties turn into strength.

In 2014, we arrived at this enchanting land, and since then, we have been working tirelessly to transform it into a unique space. We built our own cabins, improved the infrastructure, and started an incredible organic garden based on the principles of permaculture. Every day, we learn valuable lessons from the land and strive to respect and sustainably integrate architecture, art, photography, and gastronomy into our activities.

We are a family of 4 people who are passionate about living in harmony with nature. Besides us, we have other dedicated full-time team members and the warm support of the local community. However, due to the small population size, we can't always rely on collaborators.

And that's why we're here, sharing our story and inviting you to join us. Currently, we are seeking people who can help us with our vegetable gardens, take care of our beautiful flower gardens, engage in manual work, assist with maintenance, and even contribute their culinary talents. We ask for a commitment of 6 weeks, as we believe this period is ideal for fully immersing yourself in this experience.

However, it's important to note that the work here may require significant physical effort. Therefore, we recommend that interested individuals be in good health and not have severe back problems, injuries, or any other medical conditions that could limit their activities.

If you desire to experience something unique, where nature inspires us and knowledge and experiences are exchanged continuously, we would be delighted to welcome you here. Join us on this journey where we find balance between working in harmony with the land and creating unforgettable memories.

So, what do you think? Are you ready to embark on this adventure with us and be part of this inspiring story? We are looking forward to welcoming you with open arms and sharing incredible moments together!"

The collaborators have their own skills, and it is a sure win to exchange ideas with them. The combined skills of the main elements include architecture, arts, photography, sustainable living, permaculture, ecotourism, languages, water sports, yoga, international gastronomy, entrepreneurship, marketing, literature, and all the other good stuff!

You can enjoy lake access and 6 acres of land. There is a bus stop in front of our farm that can take you to nearby towns and parks. We have weekly trips to the city, and you can join us.

Overall, this cultural exchange provides a unique platform for learning, cultural immersion, and personal development. It's a journey of discovery, connection, and mutual growth that will leave you with unforgettable memories and valuable insights.

  • Help

    Help

Any kind of help is welcome! Specifically, we need assistance in family kitchen, gardening, maintenance, tool usage, landscaping, general cleaning, and upkeep of common areas, road maintenance, basic carpentry, painting, and plumbing, depending on your skills. We give preference to experienced volunteers who have knowledge of permaculture fundamentals.

Typically, we work during the mornings, but we are open to discussing other schedules.

The work hours consist of approximately 5 hours per day, 5 days per week, with 2 days off for you to explore the surroundings!

We require a minimum commitment of 6 weeks. We ask all volunteers to commit to this period as we believe it takes this time to fully integrate into the environment and have the best possible exchange experience. If there is mutual agreement and depending on your initiative, quality of help, and demonstrated commitment, it is possible to extend your stay beyond the 6 weeks.

To apply, please contact us in advance and provide your arrival date, travel plans, desired duration of stay, your skills and abilities, reasons why you would like to volunteer here, and the areas where you would be most able to assist us.

Please let us know if you have any health concerns we should be aware of. We are located a 15-minute drive away from a hospital, but please note that this is a remote location with the nearest town being 12 km away.

We look forward to hearing from you soon!

  • Accommodation

    Accommodation

In our property, you will have the opportunity to share a beautiful and modern house called Cordillera with other collaborators. The house features 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (one double room and two single rooms), along with a wood-burning stove, hot showers, stunning views, a spacious deck, and easy access to the road and trails. The kitchen is fully equipped, allowing you to prepare your meals and share them with our team. The bedrooms are also furnished with bedding, pillows, blankets, towels, and bathroom mats. In addition to the bedrooms, we have a living room with a sofa and television where you can spend time together and relax.

We highly value sharing and togetherness, so unless you prefer to have your meals individually, we encourage everyone to dine together and practice mutual respect. All volunteers receive a food box once a week, providing ingredients for their three meals. Furthermore, we enjoy organizing special moments such as making pizzas or having barbecues together to share stories and exchange experiences.

It's important to note that we have high-speed internet available in all areas of the property, allowing you to stay connected during your stay.

For added convenience, we offer a laundry room equipped with a washing machine, as well as hand wash buckets.

We make weekly trips to the nearby town, which is just 15 minutes away, where you can do shopping or attend to personal needs. You'll have the option to carpool with us during these visits.

While we provide various amenities, we highly value a mindful lifestyle that respects the environment and future generations. We spend most of our time outdoors, enjoying nature and disconnecting from the hustle and bustle of urban life.
