    Description

This farm is an idyllic space housing a multi generational family and a small farmstay. We are in the Otaki Gorge on the Kapiti Coast. Walking distance to a beautiful swimming hole, tramping in the tararuas and lots of beautiful friendly animals and views to enjoy.

Your hosts have travelled including doing our own work away experiences and are interested in people and cultures as well as sharing the farm space as well as the work maintaining it with you. We have pigs (including pigglets), sheep, chickens and alpacas as well as two dogs on the farm. We have regenerated a valley of native planting as well as getting an orchard and vegetable garden going.

Our farm produces food for our family and farm residents and none of the food is sold to the public so we are offering a cultural exchange rather than paid work.
