    Description

We are an energetic, ambitious family with 3 young children living on a large lifestyle block on a hill near Dunedin. Over the last three years we have grown from seed and planted out a 25 acre native forest and a 10 acre forest of oaks and maples. It has been a very meaningful project full of joy and hard work. We are now moving on to increase the food production of our land. A new vegetable garden, orchard, chickens, pigs and grain field are all underway!

Our home has an incredible view and is close to Mosgiel (4mins), Brighton Beach (9mins) and Dunedin City centre (15mins). It is a wonderfully warm and bright home to spend the winter months!

We have absolutely loved having our past workawayers with the liveliness and joy they bring to the household!

    Accommodation

We have individual/couple rooms in our big, modern central heated family home. Our home is warm, bright and has beautiful views. There is a large bathroom for workawayers and we have our own separate family bathroom. (The workaway shower is being replaced at the moment though so our shower is available to all)
I am happy to provide and cook all food (breakfast, lunch and dinner and snacks). I can cater for vegetarians but we do include dairy and eggs.

  • What else ...

    What else ...

Dunedin area is full of beautiful beaches and walks.
Great surfing 10mins away from our house. It is the oldest city in NZ so the city centre is interesting. It is 2-3 hrs from Cromwell, Wanaka and Queenstown. It is a beautiful area to explore!

We have a 3yr, 5yr and 7yr old so we would need someone/people with a tame lifestyle eg limited drinking and no smoking
