    Description

This is a permaculture farm, now we are on our third year running.
We are: Jens (30), Mathilde (26) and Helene (25). We like plants, music, craftsmanship... we have a band!

This year we will have a big annual garden and hopefully a polytunnel with tomatoes and tobacco. (all grown after the permaculture principles) Later in the season we will work towards establishing a field of raspberries and perennial goodies on a big field.
This autumn we made a forest garden that will need maintenance and love.
We just got a wood fired heating system, so firewood is a big task too.

And when we play music, we spin wool, Mathilde is learning to be a blacksmith and will be happy to teach. We have a darkroom for analog film development and making prints. We have a music room with many instruments. We make our own soap and wine. And in the summer season eat mostly from our own garden. From time to time we dumpsterdive.

We need a independent volunteer, one with experience in farm work or gardening. We like hard work so we can sit back and enjoy the evening with bonfires, music and cheap danish beer!

We have plans of a windmill.. anyone? :)

Living conditions are not luxurious. You will have to live in a room that is not heated (in summer it´s not freezing though) or pitch a tent in the forest or garden. (very idyllic in summer :)) We take turns in making dinner, and you will have to do that too. We expect that you have a high work moral and independence in your work. In exchange you will learn about permaculture.
We live right next to a forest where you can take walks, we also have climbing gear you can borrow if you want to scale a tree. Copenhagen is easy to get to by bus and train, just one hour. (or you can hitchhike there in half and hour if you are lucky. :)

It will be some hard days from time to time with the work, but it is all for the greatest course! We are learning and trying out sustainable technics so as to learn how to be a benefitting impact on earth instead of a destructive. You will be part of this and learn some technics that you can use to benefit the earth. Being here should take you through many of the aspects of farm life, sustainable living and the way of permaculture.

    Hope to see you, cheers!

There's a bus station one km. from us, from where you can get anywhere. there is 8 km to the train station and from there you can go directly to Copenhagen in half an hour. Hichhiking is also fairly easy here.
Denmark is small, everyhing is relativly close by! (:
We are also neighboors to a nice forest where you can take walks, and the beach is 8 km away. Nearest town is 5 km away.
