Description
We live on a beautiful farm overlooking Wilson’s Promontory . Only 2.5 kms from town and close to fantastic beaches
There are 4 of us. Daniel, Hilary, our 10 year old son Asriel and an old Goat (Max)
We are looking for a native Spanish speaker who loves kids as Asriel speaks fluent Spanish. So apart from hanging out with a fantastic, gifted kid, we need help in our garden
We have just come back from 6 months in Argentina.Asriel has been going to school in San Isidro.
Any Spanish speaker who loves good kids and living in El campo would suit but we have a special connection with Argentina and Ecuador.

Asriel is 100% fluent in Spanish, Hilary speaks intermediate Spanish. Daniel is a history expert. We speak high level neutral English. We are both really good cooks. Asriel and Hilary are both serious artists and we also have a well equiped home gym in a converted hay shed. Hilary likes fitness training and Yoga.
Asriel has formed very close relationships with his Argentine visiting teachers as he is a charming and polite kid.
We rarely drink but like high quality wine. In the summer we go to the beach and Wilson’s Promontory as often as possible .

Hi! I had one of the most incredible experiences of my life! The farm is absolutely beautiful, and the family that welcomed me is simply amazing. From the moment I arrived, they made me feel at home, like I was truly part of their family. They took me everywhere, from stunning beaches to hidden spots I never would have found on my own.

The work… read more was enjoyable and fulfilling—not too hard, and I learned so much! Now, I can proudly say I know how to garden like a pro and take care of cows and goats. What a unique and rewarding experience!

The nights on the farm were magical. The sky, untouched by light pollution, was one of the most breathtaking sights I’ve ever seen. It felt like a detox retreat, a space to truly disconnect and reset. And the food… absolutely incredible! Every meal was better than any fancy restaurant, made with fresh, organic ingredients grown right there on the farm. Even the water came from rain—everything was natural and pure.

Being there helped me reconnect with nature, find inner peace, and restore my energy. I felt refreshed, healthier, and more grounded than ever before.

Their son, Asriel, is a wonderful child—smart, kind, and full of energy. His smile lights up every room, and he has this incredible positivity that makes everything more joyful. You can tell he’s had a beautiful, happy childhood, surrounded by love, nature, and freedom. Spending time with him was an absolute pleasure!

Hillary is an extraordinary woman. From the first moment, I felt a deep sense of trust and admiration for her. She is incredibly talented—she can do it all! Whether it’s building, painting, cooking, or taking care of the farm, she does everything with passion and excellence. She is inspiring, strong, creative, and above all, a genuinely kind and generous person.

And then there’s Daniel—just as amazing as Hillary. He is brilliant, kind, and incredibly resourceful. He knows everyone and will go out of his way to help with anything. He made sure I had everything I needed, even getting me a bike so I could explore freely. He taught me so much about gardening, animals, and farm life. Our conversations were always engaging and insightful, making time fly by. He is a fantastic father and husband, and seeing how he and Hillary complement each other was truly inspiring.

Oh, and did I mention they have a gym? I had free access to it!

One of the highlights of my stay was their cooking rivalry—every meal was a masterpiece! Hillary’s homemade bread was out of this world (I must get her recipe!), and Daniel constantly challenged himself to make something even better. Their meals were next level—Hillary made the best curry and bread I’ve ever had, and Daniel’s lasagna and pesto were unforgettable.

Even though I was far from my country, family, and friends, they made my birthday incredibly special—a day I will cherish forever.

I feel so grateful and blessed to have had this experience and to now call them my friends.

So, if you’re planning a trip to Melbourne, I highly recommend stepping away from the city and discovering the magic of country life. It’s simple, happy, fulfilling, and transformative. It might just change your perspective on life—it certainly changed mine.

An experience I will carry in my heart forever, and OF COURSE that I will visit them again!. ❤️
