We are a very positive couple who enjoy everyday of our lives. We recently moved to the small village of sint Anthonis, nicely situated between the cities of Eindhoven and Nijmegen, roughly 25km from the German border. We love to come into contact with travelers from around the world and enjoy their company and learn about their culture. We both are fanatic motorcycle enthusiasts and rock, metal and punk lovers.

Travellers staying with us will have a chance to see the other side of the dutch culture. With that, we mean not just Amsterdam with it's coffeeshops and red light districts (thow Nijmegen and Eindhoven have plenty of coffeeshops too), but also the friendly and open, straight forward way of thinking and acting of the dutch people. We hope our guest are willing to take part in our every day life aswell, so they might wonder themselves about some of our customs. Some of the countries most beautiful nature reserves are well within driving distance as are numerous zoo's and fun parks.
Where possible, we will bring our travellers to see points of interest.
There is not a whole lot to do in terms of actual physical work, but some accidental painting or gardening is required. We also have 2 dogs who love to wander through the nearby forest, so it would be nice if you could do them this favour.
We also much enjoy foreign cuisine so if you would like to cook for us, we happily invite you to do so.
We have a nice guest room in the attic of our house. The bathroom, kitchen and the rest of the house will be shared.
The house is attached to one neighbours house. Sint Anthonis is a small and peaceful village with the basic necessities available.
Nearby is the town of "Boxmeer" where you'll find some bars and all the shops you'll need for your daily groceries. A supermarket is also available at walking distance in Sint Anthonis.
Bigger cities like Nijmegen and Eindhoven can be reached with public transport within 1 - 2 hours.
The "Maasduinen" nature reserve, one of the more beautiful reserves in the country, is also nearby.
The famous "Efteling" fun and theme park can be reached within an hour to an hour and a half.
Germany, with it's industrial inspired museums and theme parks are only half an hour driving away.
Amsterdam will take you 2 hours by car.
Our guest will have access to a bicycle. Public transport (bus) leaves every hour from the edge of the village towards the railway stations of Boxmeer and Nijmegen.
