    Description

Thank you for your intrest! If you Iove beautiful scenery, being out in nature, children, and all things girly then we are the family for you!
We are looking for a couple of Au Pair girls to come stay with us in our chalet style home in Western Canada for a few months and help us with our three young girls. We live in a lake side community called Lac Le Jeune, about 25 minutes south of Kamloops, BC. It is a 3 hour drive to Vancouver, BC.
The girls are ages 4, 2, and almost 1 year old. The 4 year old will be starting school in September and the 2 year old is potty trained. Both parents work in Kamloops during the day and will be needing childcare for the girls from 6:30am to 4pm, Monday to Friday. Our full time nanny should be arriving in December, so you could be home for the Christmas holidays ;)
If we could get 2 volunteers then each could work 2-3 days per week and have the rest of their time free, or you could do part days. We offer a private and a semi private bedroom, a bathroom for yourselves to share, as well as a cell phone (for whoever is with the children) and a car to use with the kids and for your free time.
We are an easy going family who loves to eat healthy, and be outdoors exploring the bounty of nature right around our neighborhood. We had a Swedish Au Pair spend the last year with us and it was a wonderful experience for us all. There are endless hiking, biking, snowshoeing and ski trails, as well as swimming, and beautiful wildlife and scenery.
One set of grandparents has a beautiful ranch with cattle, chickens and pigs. The other set of grandparents has a cute cabin on another lake nearby. We visit them nearly every weekend and volunteers are more than welcome to join. Our hobbies include working in the yard, hunting, hiking, trail running, going to the beach, and for drives in the bush with the kids.
There are hot springs, waterfalls, rodeos, ski hills, lakes, resorts, and endless entertainment within hours of us, and Kamloops is a city of almost 100k people so there is everything from movie theaters, shopping, and classes, as well as beaches and plenty of free entertainment less than half an hour away.
We are ready for help immediately so please contact me if you are interested or if you have any questions!
Thank you for your intrest, and happy travels!
