Description
Hello and Namaste everyone. My name is Bidur. I live in Dhulikhel, Kavrepalanchowk. I am 26 years old and I work in different fields like agriculture, horticulture, farming , construction works etc. I enjoy travelling, riding motorcycles, exploring new places and meeting people from different countries. I speak Nepali, English and Hindi, so communication should not be a problem.
I have a beautiful farmhouse at Namobuddha which is located in Dhulikhel. I do different kinds of activities in my farmhouse like farming and take care of the everyday works. There is always something to do around the farmhouse, depending on the season. I am looking for people who are genuinely interested in staying here and helping me with the daily work on the farm.
I would like to welcome people from different countries to my farm, share our Nepali way of life and learn about their culture as well. In return, I would appreciate some help with the everyday work on my farm. -

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
Here, workawayers can learn village experiences like farming, agriculture, horticulture and household stuffs. They can explore different beautiful places like Namobuddha which is a beautiful and a spiritual holy place, meditate by staying close to Nepalese hills and mountains and learn about Nepalese lifestyle.
I can also share my knowledge and experience with motorcycles and motocross with people who are interested in it.At the same time, I would like to learn about their countries, cultures, food, and way of life -
Help
I am specially looking for people who can help me with my everyday work around my farmhouse and farm. The work can change depending on the season and what needs to be done at the time.
Some of the work may include planting, watering, weeding, harvesting, gardening, cleaning, and probably maintenance if needed. Sometimes, there may also be some kind of construction or repair work.
I have not expected any one with any experience in anything. The main thing I am looking for is someone who is willing to help, learn, and take part in the daily life of the farm. -
Languages
Languages spoken
Nepali: Fluent
English: Intermediate
Hindi: IntermediateThis host offers a language exchange
I would like to learn French and Russian, because I grew up watching movies in those language and I love to teach Nepali to foreigners. -
Accommodation
Workawayers will be provided good accommodations. The farmhouse is in a peaceful area surrounded by nature. They will have access to the common areas such as bathrooms, kitchen and wifi. We will provide simple and comfortable accommodation here in a farm environment rather than a hotel, so that people should be comfortable with a quiet and rural lifestyle.
At morning we will provide herbal tea, roti, mixed beans soup, at lunch - rice, lentils, curry and other varieties depending on the season. At afternoon - tea, corn (makkai, bhatmas), fermented pickles, fruits (depending on the season). At night rice or dhindo (thick porridge or stiff porridge) with lentils and curry along with some pickles. -
What else ...
In the off time, helpers can go around the village and explore the places.
