  Welcome to My Little Paradise in the Mountains of Málaga!
  
  I am a Rastafarian, a high school English teacher, a nature lover, and a dreamer working to create a more harmonious way of living. I live with four big, beautiful dogs in the stunning mountains of Málaga, surrounded by nature, fruit trees, fresh air, and the peaceful energy of the countryside.
  
  I am developing a permaculture project based on living in harmony with nature, respecting the Earth, growing our own food, and rediscovering the simple joys of life. My dream is to create a place where people can connect with the land, learn from one another, share experiences, and enjoy a more conscious and meaningful way of living.
  
  In the past, I was part of the Rainbow Family, and I still carry many of the values I discovered there: community, cooperation, freedom, respect, simplicity, and sharing. I believe that when people come together with open hearts and willing hands, beautiful things can happen. For me, this is about much more than gardening or growing food; it is about creating a space where we can learn, grow, laugh, exchange ideas, and enjoy the journey together.
  
  A Place to Connect with Nature
  There is plenty growing here! I have avocado, plum, fig, pear, apple, peach, persimmon, cherimoya, and berry trees, along with grapevines and much more. Depending on the season, we also grow vegetables such as potatoes, tomatoes, and peppers, with other seasonal crops along the way.
  
  One of the things I love most is the idea of eating food that comes directly from the land around us. I offer all meals, based primarily on vegetarian food and local produce whenever possible. I enjoy the idea of sharing good, nourishing food, discovering new recipes, and gathering around the table to exchange stories and experiences.
  
  Learning, Sharing, and Growing Together
  This is an opportunity for people who enjoy nature, appreciate a simple lifestyle, and would like to take part in a project that is growing and evolving. Whether you already have experience with permaculture, gardening, or sustainable living, or you are simply curious and eager to learn, there is something wonderful about working with the Earth and seeing the results of our efforts.
  
  I welcome people who are open-minded, respectful, cooperative, and happy to contribute their energy and ideas. You don't need to know everything or have special skills; a willingness to learn, share, and get involved is what matters most.
  
  And of course, life here isn't only about work! It's also about enjoying the mountains, spending time outdoors, connecting with animals, sharing meals, having meaningful conversations, and appreciating the beauty of everyday life.
  
  If you are looking for an experience beyond ordinary tourism — a chance to slow down, reconnect with nature, discover a different rhythm of life, and become part of a small project with a big heart — you might feel right at home here.

  I already have an established permaculture project, and having recently acquired more land, I am excited to expand this vision and create a place where people can learn, share skills, work together, and enjoy a simpler, more natural way of life. I am particularly inspired by Masanobu Fukuoka and his philosophy of natural farming, and I try to follow his teachings as much as possible: working with nature rather than against it.
  
  I am looking for open-minded, reliable, and hardworking people who enjoy the outdoors, are happy to get their hands dirty, and appreciate the spirit of community living. You don't need to be an expert, just bring a positive attitude, initiative, respect for others, and a genuine desire to contribute. I believe that when people work together with a shared purpose, the experience becomes much more than just work.
  
  The land is surrounded by the beautiful Andalusian mountains, yet the Mediterranean beach is only about 20 minutes away by car, and Málaga city centre is around 30–40 minutes away. It's a great place to connect with nature while still enjoying the sea, the city, and everything this wonderful part of southern Spain has to offer.

  Beyond the experience of living in the mountains and being part of a permaculture project, there’s plenty to learn and share! You’ll have the opportunity to explore natural farming, permaculture, growing food, caring for animals, and discovering a more holistic and nature-connected way of life. I’m also a high school English teacher, with previous experience as a university professor, so I’d be happy to share my knowledge of languages and help you practise your English along the way. I love languages and cultural exchange, and I’m always excited to learn something new from the people I meet, too. Whether you come to develop practical skills, exchange knowledge, reconnect with nature, discover new perspectives, or simply enjoy a different rhythm of life, I hope you’ll leave with new experiences, fresh inspiration, and beautiful memories.

  Help

  There’s always something to do and something new to learn here! From planting, pruning, fertilising, harvesting fruit, and caring for our animal family (chickens, bees, and dogs) to helping with small DIY projects and bringing new ideas to life, there’s a little bit of everything. I’m also experimenting with homemade wine and vinegar, and olive oil production is next on the list! We’ll be growing, creating, building, and beautifying the land together, slowly transforming this corner of the Málaga mountains into my own little Holy Zion — a place full of life, abundance, creativity, and good vibes. If you enjoy working with your hands, being outdoors, learning practical skills, and seeing the fruits of your efforts grow, you’ll find plenty to get involved in here. One step at a time, let’s make this piece of land bloom!
  
  I believe in finding a good balance between contributing to the project and having enough free time to relax, explore the beautiful surroundings, enjoy the beach, make music, or simply unwind in nature. The idea is to help together with good energy, mutual respect, and a shared sense of purpose, making sure everyone feels comfortable with the arrangement.

  This host offers a language exchange
  I used to be quite fluent in French, and I’ve always had a special love for the language. My name is French, after all! I also studied Italian during my university years in Ireland and eventually got to the point where I could hold a conversation. I’d love to brush up on both languages and bring them back to life. At the same time, speaking English would be wonderful, too, as I don’t get many opportunities to use it outside the classroom. I’m a language enthusiast at heart, so I’m always happy to discover new languages, exchange expressions, and learn from people from different cultures. Basically, I’m open to any language — if there’s a chance to learn, share, and connect, I’m all in!

  Accommodation

  There’s a beautiful treehouse on the land, ready to welcome you, as you can see in the pictures! I’m also working on transforming a large hut, currently used as a workshop, into a cosy communal gathering space made with natural materials, clay, and thatch — a place to share meals, exchange ideas, and enjoy good company. There’s also an amazing outdoor kitchen, perfect for cooking together, sharing long dinners under the stars, and enjoying nights filled with music, jamming, and good vibes!
  
  We have two dry toilets, including one reserved for guests, and I’m gradually developing a little spa area. When summer comes, there’s also a swimming pool to cool off and enjoy the Andalusian sunshine. The whole place is a work in progress, growing and evolving step by step, with the dream of creating a little mountain paradise where nature, creativity, music, and community come together.   What else ...

  Life here is about much more than farming; it’s about sharing a way of life, learning from one another, and living closer to nature. We follow a vegetarian diet, and I personally don't drink alcohol. As a Rastafarian, I try to follow the teachings of Jah as much as I can, guided by respect for life, nature, and the values of community. I work hard every day to bring this project forward, and I appreciate people who share that enthusiasm and are willing to put their energy into something meaningful.
  
  Living in the mountains means being practical and resourceful! I have a car, an electric motorbike, an electric bicycle, and a quad, which are all useful for getting around and managing life on the land.
  
  Music is also a big part of this project! I’m a percussionist and drummer, and I even have a band with some fellow teachers. Music brings people together, lifts the spirit, and creates a special atmosphere, especially when shared outdoors under the stars. Musicians are more than welcome here, whether you play drums, guitar, bass, or any other instrument, or simply enjoy singing and jamming with others. You don't need to be a professional — just bring your love of music!
  
  My dream is to create a place where agriculture, permaculture, spirituality, music, and community life naturally come together. A place where we can work hard, learn from the land, share our different talents, laugh together, make music, and enjoy the simple things that make life beautiful.   Campervans and small motorhomes are welcome! If you enjoy travelling with your home on wheels, you’re welcome to park up and enjoy the peaceful surroundings of the Málaga mountains while being part of our little permaculture project.

  Pets are welcome, as long as they get along well with our furry family! We already have four big dogs here — two males and two females — so it’s important that any visiting pets feel comfortable and get along peacefully with them. If your four-legged friend is sociable and friendly, they’re welcome to join our little mountain community!
