I had Paula come to help on my farm for 2 months. Nothing was a bother to her. She was such a lovely friendly person. The horses were all well looked after and the yard & house was always kept tidy. I spend two amazing months in Gordon’s bay and I honestly don’t know how to put it into words. Over the time I got to make so many memories and I still think about them every day. If you love working with animals and are willing to work, this is the right place for you. The work is really easy and you can always choose, how much you want to do. It

The animals are all lovely and I always enjoyed chatting with Janet, Steven and Jennie. I really liked to spend my time at the farm and only went to other places on some weekends. Ryan even made it possible for us to spend three days in Belfast, which was such an amazing trip. The nature is incredible and you will already see a lot of it when your going on hacks. Liz is such a good quide and will show you the most amazing and sometimes crazy hacks. This place really gives you everything you need to have a good stay. There is a big bedroom for two people which overlooks the fields and the ocean. Ryan provides everything you need and always tries to make you feel at home. You get to make a grocery list and cook for yourself. If you need something else you can get it in the next village, which is around 5 minutes away. From there you can also take the bus to letterkenny, where a lot of busses go from. I will definitely come back one day, because I can’t stop thinking about this place.

I spent 4 wonderful weeks in Carrigart. The yard is located right on the coast, and from my room I could watch the sea and the horses. The landscape is sooo beautiful! During her time on my yard she showed great competence & kindness. She will be sadly missed and wish her all the best on her next adventure. Regards Ryan.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would.
I highly recomend going there if you're looking for a peacful place to work with horses and meet the nicest people ever. I imediatly felt at home the moment I arrived.
I had the best time ever and didnt want to leave after my 3 months. Everyone is so welcoming and nice. I miss all of them and the animals

The work is not hard at all and felt more like freetime anyway. You could choose your work and manly had to just look after the horses (feed, put them ourside) and the yard (sweap and keep it tidy).
I had a lot of free time to bake, cook, go for walks with the dogs and read while cuddeling Molly and Lady (the dogs).
And ofcourse there was lots of horse riding.
I especially loved going on hacks with Liz and Jenny aswell as talking to Janet&Stephan, all of them are so sweet!
The horses are so great, H and Allectra made me feel safe right away and behaved soo good. Jumping with H was also a highlight aswell as just riding on the beach.
The langscape is breathtaking and you can expolre it on horseback! The house is also right next to the beach and I loved going there with the dogs aswell.
Liz was so nice too. Shes such a lovely person and even helped me get to the Bus to explore Ireland while I was there.
I couldnt have asked for a better workaway experience.
All in all I had the best time and miss it so much. I'm already thinking about visiting again to see eveyone.
I could go on and on (but it would get too long if I mentioned everything great) so believe me when I say: there is no way you won't love it there!
So thank you Liz, Ryan and everyone else (human&animals) for this amazing time!Feedback

I spent almost two months with Liz and Ryan from May to June this year, and I have many lovely memories of the trip. It was my first Workaway experience and, if I had to do it again, I wouldn't hesitate for a second.
Liz, Ryan and Meghan are very welcoming and I felt at home from the moment I arrived. It's an absolutely beautiful place to live.

My job was to look after the dogs, cats and horses, feeding them, giving them daily care, keeping the stables and the area clean. I also repainted some of the obstacles on the cross-country course, which was really nice because Ryan let my creativity run free with the paint :)
In my free time, I'd go for a horse ride on the beach or do a jumping session in the arena. I also spent a lot of great time with Liz, who showed me the region through beautiful walks with the dogs. Sometimes, on Sundays, I accompanied her to show jumping competitions.
I also had the opportunity to swim in Gordon's Bay several times in June. I fell in love with the place and the breathtaking landscapes.
I couldn't have wished for a better trip, and I'm extremely grateful to Liz and Ryan for making one of my dreams come true. Thank you so so much !!
