Description
We own a famous remote lodge in Rila mountain, right after the Rila monastery in the most pristine natural spot, between the Fish lakes. The area is well known to tourist from all over the world and the lodge is operating from June until the snow in October. It is one of Rila mountain's highest placed huts at 2300 m. and the only one in the Monastery National Park. The nearby lakes, river and high peaks make it a favourite trekking spot for the mountaineers. Days here are beautiful and fresh and nights are full of stars like you've never seen before! The job is offered with payment of 2 euros/hour and free food, drinks, bed.

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
You will be joining our small community centered around the old hijar - the lodgekeeper who has been in the mountains for the last 40 years. Being the head of the family owned and operated lodge, he has many stories and also likes to sing traditional songs in the evenings. You can learn how to fish in the lakes and ride horses with supplies.

We also need to welcome guests in well maintained rooms and beds so this is another opportunity for a visiting workawayer! The job is offered with payment of 2 euros/hour.
