Hello, I am Laura, a 63 years old primary school teacher who enjoys art, yoga, meditation and hiking. My two children, both over 30, live on their own and often come to visit. I live in a large, renovated farmhouse on the hills close to the medieval historic town of Rieti. I am interested in meeting people from different countries and sharing cultures.

I would be happy to help workawayers to learn Italian or English, share knowledge about Italian culture.
The farmhouse is in a peaceful location on a hilltop, with beautiful views of the Rieti valley. This work away experience woul suit those looking for a quiet place for a writing/study/spiritual retreat, as well as nature and culture lovers.

I am asking for general help in the house and garden, for about four hours per day, excluding weekends
The help includes cleaning, lawn mowing, growing vegetables, painting and decorating.

This work away experience woul suit those looking for a quiet place for a writing/study/spiritual retreat, as well as nature and culture lovers. You will be surrounded by the Appennine mountains, with plenty of excellent hiking trails on your doorsteps. Art destinations such as Assisi, Perugia, Rome and Tuscany are easy to reach by car or public transport.

Space for parking camper vans

There's plenty of parking space for any type of vehicle. The nearest bus stop is about 10 minutes walk, but it doesn't run frequently, so it is recommended to take one's own car.
