  Hello everyone! I live in Rome—who doesn't know Rome? In a very lively neighborhood full of bars, Pigneto. There's a metro station and several buses nearby. I live in a two-story house: my father lives upstairs, and my daughter Chiara, my dog Zeno, and I live downstairs. Chiara is studying abroad and isn't home very often; Zeno is a large 8-year-old mixed breed, very good-natured and sociable with everyone. Unfortunately, my father and I work all day, and he's often alone at home, but he's a dog who loves the company of both humans and dogs.

  Vivo a Roma, chi non conosce Roma! In un quartiere molto vivace e pieno di locali, il Pigneto. Vicino c'è la fermata della metro e diversi autobus.
  Abito in una casa autonoma di due piani, in cui al piano superiore vive mio padre e al piano terra, io, mia figlia Chiara e il mio cane Zeno. Chiara Studia all'estero e non c'è molto spesso in casa; Zeno è un grosso meticcio di 8 anni, molto buono e socievole con tutti. Putroppo io e mio padre lavoriamo tutto il giorno e lui spesso è solo in casa, mentre è un cane che ama la compagnia sia degli umani che dei cani.

  I live in a young neighborhood known for its bars and nightlife. It's close to the university and well-connected to the city center and the train stations. In the evenings, we usually have dinner together to chat and recount our day. Sometimes, we enjoy an aperitif with friends.

  Help

  I'm looking for animal lovers who would like to go for walks with Zeno in the local park and help with housekeeping, as I'm rarely around and dog hair gets everywhere. Schedules are almost flexible and can be agreed upon together, keeping in mind that it's very hot in the summer and it's not possible to go out during the middle of the day.
  I'd also like to practice my English, French, and Spanish!
  I'm looking for independent, cheerful people who can take Zeno out in the morning (8-9 AM, fixed hours), midday (between 12 and 3 PM, flexible hours), and in the afternoon (4-6 PM, flexible hours). They can also help me keep the common areas clean and cook dinner occasionally when I'm too late at work. Saturdays and Sundays are free because I don't work. Since my father doesn't speak English, I prefer people who speak some Italian or who are willing to take the time to chat with a friendly old artist!
  I don't get along with introverts or the overly shy, nor with fanatics of any kind (religion, sports, or political views): I think the point of workaway is to create a cheerful atmosphere of cultural exchange, and everything makes sense if you're curious and open to dialogue.
  
  Cerco amanti degli animali che abbiano voglia di fare passeggiate con Zeno al parco vicino casa e un piccolo aiuto nella cura della casa, perchè io ci sto poco e i peli del cane arrivano ovunque. Gli orari sono abbastanza flessibili e da concordare insieme, tenendo conto che in estate fa molto caldo e non è possibile uscire nelle ore centrali della giornata.
  In più ho voglia di praticare inglese, francese e spagnolo!!
  Cerco persone autonome e solari, che possano portare fuori Zeno la mattina (8-9AM, orario fisso), a metà giornata ( tra le 12 e le 3pm, orario flessibile) e il pomeriggio ( 4-6 PM,orario flessibile), che mi aiuti a mantenere puliti gli spazi comuni della casa e che possa cucinare qualche volta la cena, quando faccio troppo tardi dal lavoro. sabato e domenica sono liberi perchè io non lavoro. Poichè mio padre non parla inglese preferisco persone che parlano un po' italiano o che comunque si mettano in gioco per parlare con un vecchio simpatico artista!
  Non vado d'accordo con gli introversi ed i troppo timidi, neppure con i fanatici di qualsiasi cosa (religione, sport o idee politiche): credo che il senso del workaway sia creare una atmosfera allegra di scambio culturale e tutto ha senso se si è curiosi ed aperti al dialogo.

  I offer a private single room. The rest of the house—kitchen, living room, bathroom, and courtyard is shared.
  
  Breakfast and lunch are free. Guests can prepare their own meals, and all cooking supplies, including the kitchen and refrigerator, will be provided!
  Dinner is shared, and I'll be happy to prepare Italian dishes.
