  In Los Glaciares National Park we offer Riding activities with panoramic views of the Perito Moreno Glacier, the Andes, accompanied by Lagos, guanacos, condors, eagles, foxes, hares, pumas, ducks, flamingos and place to meet nobody.
  The rides are daily horseback riding, 2 days, 5 days and 3.4 kilometers from the border with Chile. We accompany the trip and show the everyday life of the Gauchos, leaving in the morning covered with panoramic views of the Perito Moreno Glacier, stopping for lunch of steaks, a typical dish with a good Argentine wine and return to the room at the end the day.
  
  The ranch is 42 km from El Calafate within the National Park. It has 9000 hectares is a ranch with breeding of cattle, sheep and horses and riding activities begin October 1 to April 30.
  It is a good opportunity to experience life in the countryside and discover the mystical nature of Patagonia. NOTICE. We need volunteers with EXPERIENCIE with horses, their equipment, etc. We may teach sometings about the local way but basic experience is required.
  
  Very Important: Luciano lives at Calafate City, not on the ranch. The Experience can be a bit "alone" aldo we go every day and some times we have visitis or other volunteers. This is not a Workaway were you live with the Host and Family.

  Somos Prestadares de Servicio en el Parque Nacional Los Glaciares con la actividad de Cabalgatas con vistas Panoramicas del Glaciar Perito Moreno ,la Cordillera de Los Andes ,acompanados de Lagos ,Guanacos ,Condores,Aguilas,zorros,liebres ,pumas,patos ,Flamencos y un lugar para encontrarte con nadie.
  
  Las Cabalgatas son cabalgatas diarias ,de 2 dias ,3,4 y 5 dias a kilometros del Limite con Chile. Acompanamos y mostramos en las cabalgatas el dia a dia de los Gauchos ,saliendo de recorrida por la manana con vistas panoramicas del Glaciar Perito Moreno ,haciendo un alto para almorzar los tipicos bifes al disco con un buen vino argentino y regresar a la estancia al finalizar el dia.
  
  La estancia se encuentra a 42 km de El Calafate dentro del Parque Nacional. Tiene 9000 hectarias es una estancia ganadera con cria ,de vacunos ,ovinos y caballos y la activiad de Cabalgatas comienzan el 1 de octubre al 30 de Abril.
  
  Muy Importante: Luciano vive en la Ciudad de El Calafate, no en la Estancia. La experiencia puede ser algo "solitaria", aunque nosotros vamos a diario y siempre hay visitantes. No es un Workaway donde se conviva con el anfitrión y su familia.
  
  Es una buena oportunidad para exprimentar la vida en el campo y conocecer la naturaleza de la mistica Patagonia. Algo muy importante: necesitamos voluntarios CON EXPERIENCIA con caballos. Luego les enseñaremos el estilo local pero es muy importante que sepan montar, cuidar de los animales, tener conocimientos generales sobre el equipo, etc.

  Maintain and care for the horses, Saddle horses in the morning, welcome tourists, closing the the group on rides, taking care of tourists. un-saddling the horses, review the hands of the horses, equipment maintenance .Maintenance and cleaning of the place (house) where you live and cut firewood. It would be at least 2 months the stay preferably with experience working with horses. You work about 4 hours a day plus 2 hours of riding and at least 2 hours of lunch
  And preferably English and Spanish.
  
  Mantenimiento y cuidado de los caballos :Ensillar los caballos por la manana,recibir a los turistas ,acompanar en la cabalgata cerrando el grupo cuidando al turista en el rocorrido.Desensillar los caballos al regreso ,revisar las manos de los caballos ,mantenimiento de los equipos de monturas.Montar caballos que les faltan horas de vuelo y acostumbrar a los caballos a las capas de lluvia.Mantenimiento y limpieza del puesto(casa) en donde se vive y cortar lena . Seria como minimo 2 meses la estadia preferentemente con experiencia con los caballos.Se trabaja unas 4 horas por dia mas 2 horas son cabalgando y 2 horas de almuerzo al menos un dia a la semana libre dependiendo la disponibilidad de la cabalgata.   It is a lodging which is divided with a bedroom and a living place for tourists, with WOOD stove and kitchen, a bathroom and a shower (also with wood fire termotank).
